The Vendome is a historic boutique hotel. Which is the reason it was given four stars overall. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, it’s rustic, and currently cannot support individual fridges, coffee makers etc in the rooms. They are planning a big renovation and will be closed so make sure you check their web site

If you get a chance to stay here. DO! It’s a historic property with modern amenities while keeping the architectural integrity of the 1800’s. Will stay here Everytime I’m in Prescott. Staff was amazing as well.

I was in town for a trail race that started a few blocks from the hotel. At check in, the front desk manager was kind enough to rearrange my room so I could stay on the ground floor (stairs and post-running legs are a bad combo). She was incredibly helpful and I was so grateful for that! The room was cool, had a lot of character and clean. While they don’t have fridge or coffee in-room, the “guest pantry” just behind the front desk had a fridge and all the essentials for making coffee/tea. They even had oat milk which I super appreciated as a non-dairy person. The neighborhood is a bit noisy of course - the cost of being so convenient to bars & restaurants - so do bring earplugs, they work!

This property is an historic, boutique hotel with a lot of charm and character. It is very close to Whiskey Row and the Square but far enough away from the craziness. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The parking in the rear of the building was a nice bonus due to shortage of on street parking at times. In the future, I would request a 2nd floor room due to the creakiness of the floors above when on the ground level.
