1951 High School Reunion
Attended the Northfork class of 51 reunion @ Pipestem so the cottage was perfect for the occasion! Beautifully decorated quaint, quiet home with a lovely host just a phone call away. The outdoor kitties were a plus! We highly recommend this property!

We loved Back to the 50s!
Everything about this guest house was wonderful. It was clean as a pin and equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc, and all the appliances were in perfect working order. The yard was lovely and a great place to walk. The backporch was our favorite and we're still talking about sitting back there enjoying the landscape. Our host was available, but we didn't need to call on her as everything was so well put together. We will go back.

My wife, son and I recently stayed at the house for one night while traveling to OH. The house was charming, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and would love to stay there again.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property
The check in process was very easy, the house was clean. The host replied to our messages promptly. There were two cute cats on the back porch when we woke up, which was a nice surprise. I would certainly recommend this house.

Father's day getaway
Every year around Father's Day a few of us dad's get away on our motorcycles. This year we planned to camp at Pipestem State Park, but due to the predicted excessive heat wave we decided to rent a cabin or house. We found this one that fit within our budget. It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to fit our needs. The house was neat and tidy and had all the amenities we needed. Especially A/C. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the home offered a nice rear deck and front porch for relaxing.

Weekend trip
It was a clean house on a quiet street close to Concord University. Peaceful setting. Short drive to Princeton when we wanted to eat out or shop. We had activities at the university so it was nice and close. House is as listed, older but very nice and a great place to relax and get away. Beautiful area.

Cute, close to Concord, dog friendly
Perfect place for my short visit with my daughter who’s attending Concord university. Close to campus, could walk to it. I drove my daughter back and forth but it’s only .75 miles away. In a neighborhood with a small parking pad which was great for me but would be hard for multiple cars. There are cats that were fed twice daily that live on back porch which is fine for some but not very convenient if you bring a dog, or want to enjoy the porch, I’m not a huge cat fan so felt it took away from me enjoying the back porch as the cats and there stuff take over. Cute, little house for the perfect visit with my daughter. Worked perfectly for us. Owner was very sweet and checked on us multiple times when she was there feeding the cats.

Reminded so much of my grandparents' and my home growing up! Loved the squeek in the flooring, too. Thank you for the brownies and soft drinks. Water was hot and plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Will try to stay again during our travels North.

Nostalgia At Its Best
This property has lots of character. Nature sights are the most welcome wonderment. The 50's theme was very cool and fitting for this super cute property nestled on a beautiful wooded lot. There were deer, hummingbirds and even a raccoon visting the beautifully landscaped yard. The beds were comfy and the host was most gracious and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back patio admiring the picturesque view sipping my coffee each morning. House was decorated tastefully and kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped with all the amenities of home. Best of all, house is full of neat pictures and books and magazines of days gone by. If you love nature and history, this is the place for you. We hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely Stay!
Loved the 50's theme, and the comfy beds. This was a one-night stay for us on our way back to Ohio from South Carolina. The roads in WV are sort of crazy! But we really enjoyed the hospitality of the little town. Moe's was fantastic for a great dinner, and the nature in the area is stunning.
