There is a bar on the rooftop. We chose this partially because of that bar. It was only open 2 of the six nights we were there. One night was closed for a private party and another night we were told they had in adequate staffing. The other two nights were regular close nights which we did not see on the website. We had two days in a row that our room was not cleaned. We got back to our room at 7:00 p.m. the second night and had to ask that clean towels, toilet paper and water be brought to the room. When they did clean the rooms they did a great job.

We really enjoyed the room and the service at the Aloft. Everyone was friendly and rooms are clean and well kept. The location is fantastic. You have to understand the Aloft concept - it may not be for everyone in that the bathroom is open concept and only the toilet private behind a sliding door. We love the hotel. It suited our needs.

Clean, quiet and inviting but parking the car for the price they charge is really high!! Parking should be included FREE!! I stay in NYC a lot and parking is free in most hotels. Please work on parking…..everything else is great! Hotel staff cleaning the rooms were great as well.

I booked the king suite which was spacious and decorated well. Huge windows made the view even better. The cable TV didn’t work though, I was able to stream through Netflix and YouTube. My only complaint would be the valet service. It needs to be upgraded. We should be able to request our car 30 min before we come down to reduce waiting times with bags, in front of the hotel. At 8am, there should be more than one attendant to assist with getting the cars. If you worked on this, your hotel would be perfect!
