From the outside this place looks great. The room is clean and fairly well updated. Downstairs was clean and sunny and well appointed. Our shower door did not have a latch so it would not stay closed without throwing a towel over it. The surrounding neighborhood is not the best and most taxi drivers had no idea how to get there. It is walkable to town but at night I would.take a taxi and a map to show them where it is located. Breakfast was good every morning but we.found the staff unfriendly. Maybe if we spoke Spanish it might have been different.

Favorite stay in all of Galapagos!
Lovely, bed and breakfast just outside of the city centre, though conveniently located. You can't beat the hospitality, insight, and comfort that host, Tallita provides. Gala House offers exceptional value along with a cozy, welcoming environment.

Gala House
Es un hotel muy bonito con estilo rústico con líneas modernas. Su localización es excelente porque está muy cerca del muelle pero al igual cerca de la zona local donde hay muchos restaurantes excelentes con comida absolutamente riquísima. El personal del Hotel es la mejor parte Thania Y Stefani hacen que te sientas como en Familia aparte de acomodar cualquier necesidad que tengas ya puede ser de alimentación o información sobre La isla. Mi marido y yo  estamos encantados de como nos atendieron en Gala House, un servicio Top.  Gracias Stefani i Thania  sois muy Top.
