My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It is very close to the boat launch and there are tons of restaurants and shops within a few minute's walk. Breakfast is a set meal...toast, eggs, meat, cheese, and fruit. If you are a vegan or have dietary restrictions, you are going to have an issue with the breakfast. The door to my patio was broken so I wasn't able to put my wetsuit out to dry. The hot water took about 5 minutes to heat. Wifi in the room is non-existant, I had to go down to the restaurant to get access. The area is VERY loud, the restaurant plays loud music and there is a nightclub across the street that blasts music on the weekends. The pool closes at 6 and has no seating, its really not a place to hang out unless you have kids. You can probably get a similar room for less since the amenities are actually very basic, despite what it lookslike on the website.

The room was big, water pressure great, and the breakfast fantastic. They will even give you a togo breakfast if you had to catch the boat to another island, which usually is early in the morning. The TV did not work.

Demasiado ruido, hay un bar restaurante como parte del hotel, con música demasiado alta desde muy de mañana y hasta muy tarde en la noche. Difícil descansar con tanto ruido. Su personal muy amable.

Ok value for the money, but no functioning WiFi
It's probably an ok stay for the money. But be warned that the wifi barely works at all. For someone who needs to work on the road, like myself, that proved pretty disastrous. The breakfast was very basic. Location is pretty good though, short walk from everything.

Pros. 1.The Hotel is close to everything so everything you would ever want is at walking distance. 2. Very clean Hotel with very friendly staff and it feels very safe inside the Hotel and out 3. It has a pool which has a decent temperature and is clean. 4. Price was decent but expected more for what I paid. Cons. 1. My only complain about the hotel would be the amount of noise. Tjhe walls are very thin that you can hear everything. 2. They allowed someone to have a birthday party right outside our door pretty much in the hallway/balcony. It was a kids parry so you can guess how loud it was. It felt like our privacy went down from a 5/10 to a 0 because of it. 3. Little expensive for that kind of Hotel.

Amazing location and service!
Galagos Native was centrally located, clean and affordable. I recommend their breakfast because it was really good! The staff was very accommodating— they were able to find a private taxi service for us since the places we wanted to visit was all over the island of Santa Cruz. The internet/WIFI could have been stronger though. However, I believe it is slow (compared to Quito) for most of the island anyway.

The woman who works the reception and room cleaning (she has adorable small children with her) is extremely nice. I inquired about a laundry mat nearby and she let me know they’d do it for me for $2 per kg (great price!!) The property is highly suitable for its location and price point, the included breakfast is great — the woman in the restaurant didn’t speak much English and my Spanish is rough, a printed translated breakfast menu would probably make it much easier on both parties. Our room was large, sunny, and clean with a balcony the only thing was the bathroom smelled like a plumbing/sewage issue.. maybe the drain was backed up but we kept the door shut. Oh also the wifi doesn’t work but that’s common in the islands. I would stay here again!!! 7.5/10

The property had a good location and purified water always available in the lobby. WiFi doesn't work at all, they shouldn't even advertise as having it! Made my reservations about a month in advance, when I arrived I was told my room was getting maintenance and that they had arranged for me to stay in a hostel down the road. When I arrived at 10am when they said the room would be ready it still wasn't - I asked to put my stuff down at least so I could start my day and when I got to the room it was a complete mess. In other words, it wasn't getting maintenance, someone had been living in it. I don't like liars!

I arrived to the hotel before the check-in time and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Then they were pretty confused at my question of wanting to store my luggage at the front desk until after check-in. I liked that they had a water cooler to fill up reusable water bottles. I was given the room that I booked on Expedia but then the next day was asked if I could switch rooms because they needed that room for a larger family reservation. They were begging me and I agreed. The second room was okay but the view was not as good as the first room. Breakfast was included but I had made arrangements the day before check-out to ensure that my breakfast would be ready at 6:30AM (the time that breakfast began) and they assured me that it would be ready. I went to the breakfast area at 6:30AM and they did not open the breakfast area for seating until 7:10AM. At that point I had to leave to the airport due to the fact that t takes about 2 hours to get to. Although the rooms were clean and spacious, I would not stay there again.
