It’s a smaller resort overall but still has everything that’s needed. First, the room was excellent. Very clean room. Awesome shower with great soaps. The bed was very comfortable. The temp was perfect. Every balcony has an ocean view. Breakfast buffet was good. Lunch pool side option was not very good. The dinner options were great. Had 3 sit down restaurants without crazy dress codes. The food was excellent in all 3 but loved the steak house the most. Property is older but very clean. Beach is small but the beaches in this area are never prestigious. Pools were chilly but clean. The night shows were very good. I believe it was still down season. So I’d expect it to be even better when fully staffed.

Just back from vacation with 3 kids. Super relaxing place for parents, where you can put kids to be cared to enjoy your own time. Very happy with the various activities day and night time. Staffs are super nice. Every night we had different style of restaurants and the reserve only one is easy to book as well.

We absolutely loved our stay! Though this resort is a little off the beaten path, it was exactly what we needed and wanted. Facilities were good, staff was great, spa was amazing, and food was excellent!

What was great: friendly staff, buffet breakfast & lunch options, the French Restaurant, pool snack bar, the adult pool option, ample pool and beach chairs, the kids club(the kids loved the staff & program), overall amenities on resort. Needs work: Mexican/Italian restaurants were just okay, challenging daily beach clean up effort, inconsistent room maid services, game room equipment including foam pieces (tired, missing parts or broken)elevators needing service Overall, a relaxing & also fun resort and would still definitely for couples or families.

It is a great hotel, one of the newer ones, food was great, especially in restaurants, territory is well maintained, a lot of entertainment, the stuff is nice, friendly and really helpful Shows are great! Entertainment team did their best The only downside of this hotel is a beach/sea, there was a lot of seaweed and water was not clear at all, you couldn’t see anything, beach was not cleaned properly from seaweed ( we noticed it only 1 time during our 6 day stay) we were at other hotels at “seaweed” time period and it was much better, looking at pictures from other travellers at different times - this is not spot for “bounty” advertisement kind of a beach, not their fault but just wanted to warn in case it is important to you :)

The BAD, was the multiple areas that were unrepaired with just caution tape near them. The broken tile and concrete work. The Foosball table and the Air hockey tables were broken and made playing not that enjoyable with the kiddo. Some of the lounge chairs by the pools were broken as well. The Tennis court was not playable. One of the basketball rims on the roof area was broken and not there. One of the two rims in the pool was not attached and the other seemed to be bent or broken as well. The SO SO. The Dinning. The food was good (not the mexican) but very limited on choices to eat if you are there for more than four days. The GOOD. The staff. Anyone we came in contact with was very friendly and seemed to go out of their way to make anything right. The pools were GREAT! One for the small kids and the other two were nice and big. Overall, being I have traveled many resorts it is probably one I would not travel back to. BUT being it was a getaway weekend trip for the kiddo, it was a good time! She is 6 and loved the pools, the ocean, most of the food and the drinks/pina coladas (no alcohol).

Our family enjoyed the stay at Sensira a lot due to that facts that they have a good variety of kids’ activities: kid club, games room, movie theater, water park, zip line, etc. The dining options are also great.

We recently had a great vacation with our kids at Sensira, and there were plenty of activities to keep them entertained throughout our stay. Although the buffet was closed for dinner, likely due to the resort being less busy, we had no trouble enjoying meals at the restaurants. The kids especially loved the steakhouse with its bull riding. Unfortunately, our daughter had an accident during the trip, but we were incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided by the on-site doctor and the medical and management teams. They were quick to assist us and made special arrangements to ensure she received the proper care and stayed in touch with us the whole time. We truly appreciate all their help and support during that time!

The beach is full of seaweed everyday. Food options are good but limited. Overall a great family resort, but I wouldn’t stay longer than a week simply due to the food options.
