We have stayed here a number of times over the years. The service is still excellent. Gloria, Jesus, Angel, Timoteo, Gustavo, Eduardo, Jorge, Rudolpho, Fausto, and Celso are all awesome. We had issues with housekeeping this time. For whatever reason there were four or five days where they didn’t clean our room. A couple of other days they came as late as 6pm to clean. We are out of the room everyday by 7:30 and return around 4-5. The “please clean room” sign was hung on the door every morning. The food quality has diminished over the years. We certainly understand that Mexico has a burgeoning middle class and more nationals are staying at the resorts now so much of the food selection caters to the locals…but there was a number of evenings when we went out to eat because the selection at the buffet wasn’t very good. We like the location of this resort, especially to attend Day of the Dead festivities on the Malecón.

Great location, 7 blocks from Malecon. Pretty property with beach, updated rooms-very clean. The staff was GREAT! Shout out to the waitress, Catherine and Dahlila that mans the breakfast for eggs.

Our stay was good. We enjoyed our time there. I did not like that the push for sitting for a 90 minute presentation was extremely aggressive. We agreed to the presentation when we arrived because the representative was not truthful on what it was. We then changed our minds and we were treated poorly for changing our minds. I paid an extra $60.00 to confirm the 90 minute presentation and for the upgrade to orange bands so that we could access the Sky Bar but the Sky Bar was closed every time we went there except for one time. I paid for nothing because people with blue bands were in the Sky Bar. The aggressiveness on these 90 minute presentations is too much and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Location was great to old town and board walk. Only 2 restaurants available outside of buffet. However, both required reservations and 1 was closed on Sunday and they all had limited hours. Food was less than average. For an all inclusive resort, you were being charged extra to include bottle water in your room refrigerator, only being allowed 2 a day. Room service menu very limited with a surcharge (understandable tho). The resort was very pushy with their version of a timeshare that they called a club membership. As well, this meant there were areas or amenities that you were not granted that normal aok inclusive resorts normally offer. Overall, PV was great and will come back; but I will NOT be staying at this resort again.

Food buffet was cafeteria food at best. Cold and under cooked pasta, raw potatoes, theme nights with Italian and Asian menu were unappetizing both in looks and taste. Honeymoon suite tub could use cosmetic upgrade but it worked. I can’t say that about the spa area. Only 4 of the jets worked. Conflicting music from different area at the pools (be aware there is no adult only swimming pool, only a small area around the 6 person lounge “pool”. A couple of nights we were kept up do to parties with loud dance music on the volleyball court. The staff was fantastic and the place was clean.

The location was great ! Rent the bikes from the resort and ride to Melecon!! The bikes are old and rusty but it was fun! They only give you two water bottles a day , we had to buy water across the street. Pools are packed and dirty. Jorge at the pool was awesome!! He did a great job serving us. The food is not good. We ate out most nights. The buffet had the same thing every morning. Staff was not friendly. The resort is full of locals. We only saw a handful of American travelers. It felt like staff treated locals better then American travelers. If your planning on exploring MX this is a good resort for that. Feels more like a hotel. If your coming to relax and enjoy the resort experience , don’t stay here.
