Definitely do not get the all inclusive. The food was terrible and not but 2 choices for dining. Construction taking place daily with unbearable noise. Rooms are nothing to write home about. Overall low end

Three of us stayed at the Krystal Resort Puerto Vallarta hotel for six nights, and every single day we had to ask the housekeeper to give us towels, face cloths, hand towels, toiletries, etc. The housekeeper will leave two towels or no towels at all, with no hand towels and no face loss, and we will call the front desk every day for six days to request service for our room. The housekeeper never changed our bed or cleaned our room when requested,,we found it dirty. Stain on the bed the things that previous nights. No hot water for a shower as well; we called the front desk several times, and nothing was done. Also, the male waiters at the buffet were extremely aggressive and pushy for tips. They will constantly ask you, Buggy, for tips while you’re eating. They will not leave you alone. The food was great, though. Our overall experience in the city with the people outside the hotel were great.

I enjoyed my stay. Although the resort could really use a hot tub. Was cold a few of the days I was there. Also a lot of construction going on. Was noisy and not very open to walk around from what I remember from my last stay 2 years ago. I would maybe go back if I could find a decent deal on the all inclusive stay.

We travel very frequently to Puerto Vallarta. At least three times a year. We usually stay at another resort but decided to give Krystal a try, we spent a majority of the time wishing we were at the other resort, unfortunately. First off, the resort is under major construction and a lot of amenities that are shown are not available. There is not much for kids to do at all! And in the description it says there is a kids play area and kids pool, this was not the case while we were there. The play are is torn down and the “kids” slide/pool is a small area and the slide was not in working condition. The other area for the kids to play in a shallow pool was extremely unsafe and run down. There are only two food options during the stay and while the food was ok, there aren’t a lot of options and we got tired of the same thing over and over. Everything in the resort is so spread out so you have to walk far for everything. There is one main bar in the lobby area and one by the pools, but again the walk is long to both. The walkways are run down and very uneven so people with mobility issues have a very hard time. The whole facility is pretty run down so I understand the construction of new areas of the resort but the areas that were available while we were there were so poor. I wish we were aware before we booked. We had a sink that was broken the first night (they did fix it the next day) but water flooded the bathroom. The staff and beach were great though!

3 stars for a 3 star hotel. Hotel is very old. They need to remodel and clean the property up. Food was ok. We actually ate out at other restaurants around town due to limited options at the resort. They don’t have restaurants there they just serve different types of food in two different areas on different nights. The beach front amount is larger compared to some hotels. No wait staff on the beach. You have to walk all the way back to hotel/bar area by pool. Pools need to be updated. They are building a new hotel next door so all we heard was construction for a week. We watched people leave all mad at the place right when they arrived.

Seemed to be the same thing every day Housekeeper removed (stole) my granddaughter’s Columbia bathing suit and a sleep sack from my daughter’s room combined value over $100. Very upsetting that the staff does this. Our maid was great! We were on a different floor

I did not realize there were two Krystal Vallartas, both next door to each other. What I booked online appeared to be the Grand Krystal in Puerto Vallarta but when I checked in, I found this was not the case. This was disappointing as we booked under the impression we would have specific restaurants and rooms. One day our room was cleaned but no towels were left. We called 3 times and went to the lobby twice before we were able to get them ourselves. We chose to do an excursion one day and the company left a package for us at the front desk and the hotel did not notify us of this. It was not until I was home that I was made aware of this and have yet to reach anyone from the hotel to obtain my package. At check out, we were never asked about our stay or how are time at the resort was. I do not have plans to stay at this resort, nor any Krystal resort in the future.

The pool area was nice clean, beach area was beautiful. Service was really great! However, the place is under construction therefore the gym was not available which was not noted and was something we would have like to have available, also noisy due to the construction.
