Its a great place. We have really enjoyed our stay. Little bit dated but no complain what so ever. Roomes could use some upgrades but nothing major. Happy with the food and the huge property so well decorated with mature plants.

Everything is pretty nice from diverse food choices to entertainment equipment. Also a great destination for families with children as they can provide free daycare for children while parents can do SPA or have a drink. The staff in the resort are all friendly and welcoming. Overall we had an amazing stay. Property is not too big like the other resorts so it gives off a more intimate stay. All staff members were helpful and were always cheerful. Food on this property was not the best.

When we arrived to the hotel, we had to wait around 40 minutes to have our “VIP check-in” because those that book through expedia are treated as “VIP”, which is a BS because i could’ve checked in in the normal stand much faster. It really matters when you travel with small kids. The hotel sent me 2 messages prior to my arrival asking question what time we arrive approximately, to ensure they are ready for our arrival, which is another useless thing, because when we entered the room, it was dirty, there were remains of toothpaste on the sink from previous guests. Also there was only 1 towel while we were 2 adults and 2 kids. I called the reception to ask them to clean the room and bring more towels and the reception lady rudely responded that they only provide one towel and never sent cleaning staff. On the next day i found the guest services manager and complained about this and they quickly fixed everything with room being deep cleaned, however, damage was already done and 1 day gone. I have also left a formal complaint about the rude lady and the cleanliness of the room leaving the approximate call time and date. The room itself was pretty good, however, it is very old and bathroom is a disaster in terms of being clogged all the time and there are many cracks everywhere. AC worked perfect, but thermostat that controls is it junk, no matter what temp you set, it always cools as a one setting. The pool itself was dirty in my opinion because it was heavily congested.

Just got done spending our honey moon there and we had a wonderful time! Never left the hotel never felt the need to go anywhere else for anything. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy a wonderful beach and pool as well as friendly and knowledgeable staff that meat all your needs.

We did not enjoy the food very much. The buffet was ok, but not great. There were only 2 restaurants and the wait time was very long and quality of food really disappointing. The staff tried their best. Kids club takes kids very young, which was a plus for us as it's not common. But it was very unimaginative besides activities, there was no open play at all if a child didn't participate in the scheduled activity

This all inclusive hotel is much more better than many 5 star hotels I stayed in around the world including Europe and North America. The staff in all parts of the hotel are amazingly helpful, friendly and professional. The location is very good in a modern, quiet,safe area with access to all parts of the city by public transportation . I used uber many times easily. The food had many varieties and every day was different. The entertainment programs are good . The restaurants are excellent. I appreciate Edgar Alberto who made a wonderful memorable romantic dinner for us at Mole &Tacos restaurant. Mélia Hotel will be my choice for my next trip.

Melia PV is a beachfront all inclusive hotel with 3 dining options available on site - 2 restaurants, 1 buffet and nightly entertainment. Restaurants - 3 star. Service - 5 star. Entertainment (stage) - 3 star but too loud for us to stay & watch. This was a critique heard from many guests. Customer Service - 4 star. Front Desk Service - 3 star. Beach - clean and vendors were non intrusive. Overall I give this hotel 3 stars.

Love the location! I love staying at the Marina. The convenience of being close to the airport and being able to walk to the Marina restaurants. The Meliã is definitely dated, but the rooms were clean. Plugs didn’t work well. A/C barely cool. Scratchy towels. ATM in lobby US dollars only. The front desk wouldn’t exchange US money for Pesos. They just said they don’t offer that service and you have to go to the Marina. I asked to change my pesos to smaller and was told they could only do 400 pesos. The lines for the buffet were long and the food was only sub par. They don’t enforce the no smoking. I know it’s Mexico, but it is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. There were kids everywhere! Only one large pool. No adult only pool. Hence everyone having to get out of the pool because someone pooped in it. At the buffet kids running wild, touching stuff and putting it back. Parents not watching their kids. We know we are a minority in Mexico, but we really felt like it at this resort. The service was not as attentive as I am used to in Mexico. Felt overlooked a lot because we weren’t Mexican and especially because we don’t speak fluent Spanish. You’d be waiting in line and a Hispanic person would come up start speaking Spanish to the person and they would get helped first even if you had been waiting and trying to do so patiently. But, all of that said José Maria our server at the pool was awesome!!! He works so hard. Our drinks were never empty. He really took care of us.
