The view from our room was fantabulous!!!! Loved waking up to the ocean just outside my window. The amenities were great and staff were accommodating. Nice and close to the airport and only a 20minute drive to Malecon. We would recommend to anyone!

This was our first time in PV and we enjoyed our stay but likely would not return. Property was kept clean, is in close proximity to the airport and marina which was nice. Beach area was okay, pool was large and great temperature. Staff was friendly enough but not personal. Food was average/below average and only 2 a la cart restaurants was disappointing. They could certainly do some updating, add 1 or 2 restaurants, a proper coffee bar, and although the performers did a good job, the evening shows were not good compared to other resorts. Good first time in PV in general but would definitely look to stay at a 4-5 star somewhere else in the area next time. This resort is probably 2.5-3 star at best.

The property was a bit outdated the shows were not entertaining. Only decent show was Friday Mexican night with mariachi. Food was good and staff were friendly! Shoutout to Juan by the pool who had excellent customer service.

This will be our second time staying here. We enjoyed how family friendly it is and how the staff will go above and beyond to help and give information. We really liked the variety of food they have available.

Melía Puerto vallarta was an incredible experience for my family. After a little mishap on our first night and the fact that the property looks a little tired; it was all amazing. Food, entertainment and amenities worth the stay, but in the words of Thomas Keller "in the end, all hotels are the same—a room and a bed; service is what makes the difference.” and it did Alberto as a guest service agent and entertainment had all the answers and lots of talent and Silvia always attentive for all guest services. Victor, Ignacio and Nabor at the pool bar. Antonio at the main restaurant. To say a few names made the difference. Everyone from maintenance, security, housekeeping, front desk and cooks, every member was always friendly and helpful. They are the reason I'd visit the hotel again!

Pool dirty, didn’t clean room on time, slippery bath fell while taking a shower and had to pay for getting check while it wasn’t our fault, found a big roach in our room.
