Our first Riu experience after staying with almost every major hotel chain worldwide. CHEAP! No robes, no slippers, no hair conditioner or skin moisturizer in the bathroom. No soap bar. Food was terrible except one restaurant. Desk wanted $15 to replace missing cardboard pass key! we put pool towels on chairs and went to breakfast. They were missing when we returned and the hotel wanted to charge us for the towels. Incredible. For almost the entire day, and that includes the evenings a social director type with a load bullhorn extols everyone to have fun and pits American vs Canadian guests. Everyday! This is the single worst, most offensive resort we've ever experienced. you'll regret Riu resorts at any price. Avoid these properties.
