Hotel Tradicional was a gem. Clean, charming, and offering a unique experience, it stood out from the typical resort. Each morning, I relished sitting on my balcony, savoring the endless supply of coffee the attentive staff provided. Despite my request to skip room cleaning due to late nights, they ensured I had fresh towels, water, and garbage changes daily. When they did clean, it was impeccable. The staff treated me with genuine kindness, making me feel more like a valued guest than just another check-in. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable. Also the neighborhood was amazing. The local vendors took great care of their business and the streets! I never felt unsafe. The local dogs were also behaved and explored and enjoyed their streets too.

Stayed one week, here for the dentist, great option for the budget conscious. Close to many options for dining, as well as the Guadalajara Pharmacy (I was a daily shopper). Close to many options for taking the bus, to/from airport (10 pesos) as well as the main bus option (10 pesos) heading south, to places like Mismaloya or Boca de Tomatlan, and the connecting bus to El Tuito (40 pesos).

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the area is a bit quieter so people who find it difficult to sleep due to loud noise may enjoy resting at this hotel! Would definitely book again!

When I checked in the man at the desk seemed preoccupied on his phone. After giving me my key he failed to tell me how to get to my room. I went down the hallway and up 3 flights (my room # was 400) of stairs carrying my suitcase ( I am 75 years old)and there were no room # starting with 4XX. A nice man staying in the hotel helped me carry my suitcase up the last flight. He went down and asked the man "why didn't you help the lady" He did not get a nice response. the customer came back to to help me find the room - we could not find it. The man watched my suitcase while I went back to the desk. The desk clerk pointed to a flight of stairs to my left. I went back up the other stairs to retrieve my bag and climbed 3 flights to find my room- with the help of the customer. The nice man who helped spoke little English but was more helpful than the desk clerk. There was construction going on in the hotel that started at 8:30. All night there was loud talking coming from the lobby that echoed up the atrium and was loud in my room until after midnight. Children were talking in yelling in the stairway until midnight as well. The room was clean and the maid was nice. The lady at the desk on the second day was helpful, but the noise did not subside during my entire stay. I barely got 3 hours of sleep.

Front desk staff were friendly and competant. Rooms are dated and balcony rooms do not have airconditioning. Lots of bugs get into the rooms but they are easy to kill. Fantastic location near lots of taco stands, and pharmacies. Short walk to the beach. Great place to stay for a couple of days to get an idea of the area before finding more suitable accommodations.

In my opinion it's in the perfect location from everything. It's close to the beach, great restaurants, shopping, the bars and night life. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always nice and clean. I've stayed in this Hotel many times the price is reasonable also.

Beautiful old hotel being renovated
Nice hotel, beautiful and well maintained they are remodeling some rooms which are super cool unfortunately we couldn’t get them and ours was very old but clean. The hotel is quiet and the neighborhood is safe, quiet. Conveniently located there are very good restaurants nearby. Staff is helpful and smiling.

Budget hotel for the family. Good prices, walkable to everywhere. Room was a little bit small but comfortable. As I mentioned it is a family oriented budget hotel, don't expect high-end facilities though expect feeling welcome.
