This property is undergoing renovations. It’s currently in poor condition and the restaurant/lounge was closed when it should have been open. The hot tub was closed & areas of the property were in disrepair. The staff also mentioned renovations have been going on for a while & there was a lack of communication about what was going on.

I am/was concerned regarding the access to the shower/tub. there were no hand holds for either getting into or out of the shower/tub. I think this is a safety issue but will not keep me from coming back.

We were staying to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. We were very disappointed that the pool was down for maintenance (my kids were very disappointed because after walking all day in Seattle they were looking forward to playing in the pool to unwind) and apparently the hot tub was broken. The hotel restaurant or martini bar was even closed during our stay. No apologies just joking about running away due to the craziness

A little run down
This hotel is a little bit rundown and it used to be a really nice hotel. The carpets in the hallways to the rooms looked filthy. The room itself wasn’t too bad. But the body wash was out or just not stocked? The bathroom was a bit small and awkward to close the door. We went to the sauna and that seemed a bit run down as well. It was at the end of the basement hallway and seemed to be off of a meeting room. The bathroom down there was dated and had caution tape over the shower stall. There were no robes or towel readily available. So bring some from your room or ask for some. Also the sauna wasn’t very hot when we got there so be prepared to wait as it will take some time to heat up. The breakfast was what you can expect from a best western. I liked the view of the water but there was some load noise from the hvac out side the room. All in all not really worth the price.

The pool closing at 9:00pm with no exceptions was ridiculous. Very early. Business meetings ran until 9:06am and the breakfast ended at 9:00am. For the fee's charged, it seemed very early to pull the food, the staff were not empathetic at all.

We recently stayed at the Best western in silverdale. We had booked a balcony with fireplace, water view room The first room the tv didn’t work and the fireplace barely turned on. We asked to be moved and switched to the 1st floor same style room. This room was great minus the fireplace not working at all. We were later told that none of the fireplaces were working in any of those rooms. The hot tub is not working and the restaurant is now closed on Mondays which had we known all of this We would have booked elsewhere. Trying to get a late check out without being charged since our room type did not have all amenities working was also a challenge. I would recommend staying somewhere else for now.

This was by far one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed. The carpet through the entire corridor was filthy. The room was small and outdated. Carpet in the room had stains on it. Not as bad as the hallway. They allow dogs which is horrible. I am allergic and my allergies and Asthma was terribly the entire stay. Will never stay there again.

Hotel carpet outside the room was pretty gross. Inside the room was much better. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Took our service dog. Nothing indicated a separate fee on Expedia or at check in.. I was told about the fee after walking into the parking lot to leave ( had checked out already, wasnt told then about the fee, but clerk waited until i was outside). I thought that was weird should probably collect that when people with a pet arrives. Seem like a bait and switch thing but whatever. Was ok nothing to really write home about.
