A great little hotel right on the beach! Very friendly staff and 2 pools and 2 restaurants. A great location. The restaurants are ok but limited options so this would be the only negative. Had a great time!

Muy buen lugar para conectar bonito con tu pareja. Lugar tranquilo, comida excelente en ambos restaurantes, el servicio de todo el equipo es muy bueno en especial el servicio recibido por Ruben, Jazmin, Karielis, Luis del restaurante fue increíble. La habitación es más pequeña de lo acostumbrado pero cómoda y muy bonita decorada. La única observación es q sería bueno tener cafetera en la habitación y verificar el drenaje del baño ya que expedia un olor fuerte en ocasiones. En general lo recomiendo y si tuviera que volver a escogerlo, lo haría.

If you want to experience Bavaro beach, HM Bavaro is a wonderful option. Staff is gracious, dining on site is delicious, room was sufficient with a gorgeous beach view from a sweet balcony….oh yeah… and free beer( but please tip) at the beach bar next door!

This stay is a great value for the cost. The property is well kept and the staff are very nice. The best part of this hotel is its beach access, the rooftop, and balcony in every room. The rooftop pool has spectacular views of the ocean and is an exceptional place to relax. The beach is nice, but it is right next to a number of boating excursions, so sometimes the smell of boat fuel disrupts the experience of enjoying the water (but this is minor and there are plenty of beaches around to take a day trip that are more serene) Overall you cannot complain when you are at the beach :). There are 2 restaurants on the property make it easy to get food when you want it and there is a small market less than a block away. There are only two things I think this property can do to improve experience 1) The food is fine, but it is not particularly good. If they could work on getting a better menu or ingredients it could be really great! It would also be nice if they included more local specialties. That said there are plenty of places to eat in the area. 2) There are some minor maintenance issues, like the shower was super slow to drain and several guests had issues with air conditioning (which is a luxury still), but I understand the hotel is new, and they were super receptive to fixing or changing rooms. Finally, the block the hotel is on is near another hotel that clearly has sewage issues creating a bad smell on the street I hope that the other hotel can invest in improving this.

We enjoyed our beachfront room and infinity pool. The hotel is clean and quiet. Good to relax. The beach was not adults only. We were not allowed to purchase drinks at the bar on the beach. The bartender at the hotel did not know how to make drinks and they had bottom shelf liquor. The food was average. Unable to find any authentic food in the area. The area surrounding the hotel is questionable.

The male concierge was terrible he refused to help woth anything we requested - like a blanket. The toilet broke twice and the TV broke. They charged us 3$ a day fee to use the safe in our room. We waited 1 day for a ‘maintenance’ person to come up and the key to ‘fix’ the safe. They don’t provide concierge service and don’t pick up their 24 hr phone - ever. The food on site was the worst, but they won’t tell you about other restaurants, like citrus or the view Punta Cana, because they want you to buy from them. We had the breakfast one day it was cold and the fruit was not ripe. They do not clean your room daily and you can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet. At 4 am on Saturday a man appeared on a ladder on our balcony. Only benefit of this hotel is that you are on the beach - but is loud and people partied past 4 am. It is not an all inclusive which was a benefit and the two restaurants I mentioned above were great. If you are going to risk it make sure it is refundable. Read the small print. Don’t even waste your time with the male concierge. The pharmacy is around the corner if you get sick, they are great there.

Très bon hôtel à taille humaine à Bavaro
Hôtel très bien situé, donnant directement sur la plage, et à taille humaine, ce qui est appréciable dans le secteur de Bavaro. Les chambres sont propres et confortables mais pas extrêmement grande. Personnel très sympathique dans son ensemble (restaurant, room service)..un peu moins à l'accueil. Piscine roof top et salle de petit déjeuner aussi sur la terrasse vraiment au top. Petit déjeuner de très bonne qualité.
