Great visit with old friends
Long overdue visit to old friends who moved to the area a few years ago. We travel with our dogs so it's important to have good amenities for them as well as us & this fit the bill! Lovely house Great location to town & the park to walk the dogs as well!! Also great communication with Scott our host! Will return for sure next visit!! walk the dogs close by!

A Budget Inn versus a Marriott stay.
The unit was in the low end of cost for the area, so I wasn't expecting much. It was comfortable enough, but just screaming for some renovation - like ceramic tile flooring that doesn't get impacted by flooding like wood or wood composite floors do. This unit had the cheap fake wood throughout that isn't doing well, most likely due to water seeping in from at least the last hurricane. But for the price, I can't really complain. When I stay at a Budget Inn, I also don't complain that it isn't a Marriott. The location is nice, though. It's only a 5-minute walk to Fisherman's Village, which is where I walked in the mornings to get coffee, even though the house had a coffee maker, filters, and actually coffee. I didn't like that I couldn't, or couldn't figure out how, to get local/network TV stations. I could only get the Netflix, etc., stations that come with the new TVs. Other than that, the place is just a bit old and outdated with the flooring being the biggest issue and a transition piece between living room and kitchen area that was loose, easy to trip over. But lots of couch space and overall, a comfortable stay. Just don't expect updated and fancy and you'll be fine!

Spring Training/ Break
My family was on spring break and looking for a place with proximity to several spring baseball stadiums, (close to Fort Myers) which is what this house provided as expected. What we were most pleasantly surprised by was how much we loved Punta Gorda itself! It has such cute parks, a military museum, and great restaurants, which were all very near to this home. Only wish there had been a second bathroom.

We only stayed 3 nights but totally enjoyed our visit! Loved being in a residential, quiet, historic area so close to lots of places of interest (Fisherman Village, Peace River Sanctuary, Gilchrist Park, downtown and the Working Cow ice cream). Totally enjoyed the patio and Florida room! Home is clean, roomy and comfortable! The manager answered all our questions in minutes!

Great Location walking distance and biking to water and restaurants/bars/shops
The location is awesome for walking/biking to nearby restaurants/bars/shops. The owner is extremely nice, and communication was great. He also gave us some money tree seeds when I asked him about the plants in the yard. Thank you so much for an awesome stay.
