This B&B is in a perfect location with great parking. We walked everywhere! We booked the family suite. In terms of floor space this is a large suite, but unfortunately is an attic room. Head height is limited, and knocking one’s head becomes a common occurrence. Cleanliness was ok.
Fittings are clean but tired and dated, and of poor quality. The shower was a useless electric style one.
The B&B is unmanned. The owner can be contacted via text. The breakfast was a shambles. Covid was the excuse for not providing an adequate breakfast. The dining room was not small, with effort, 2 or 3 sittings could have been done. Instead a naff bag of a croissant, yogurt, apple/banana was delivered to your door at 9am (no earlier-that time or not at all).
We paid just under £700 for 3 nights. This was money for old rope with minimal service/outlay. I suspect this place is always booked because of the location, and survives on that, and that it is relatively clean. I’m in the wrong business!
