We had a car so our host obtained a parking pass for the nearby garage. We don’t speak French, and initially the GOS only wanted to give us walking direction because it was close. We found it! Then, we toured on foot. Rue st Jean has it all! Shops, cafes and musicians in the square, all so similar to a European city. We took a 4 hour bus tour, which met at a point, 5 minutes walk from the rental! Again, super convenient. We saw Montmorency falls, st Anne de Beaupre shrine, a coppersmith studio and a chocolate shop. In town, the funicular took us to the oldest portion of the city which had a Main Street full of shops and cafes. All fun and great places to people-watch. Our rental was. Superb, with even a rooftop table for wine and cheese! We would definitely stay here again!
