Very limited/cold breakfast. Little to offer, had to wait for boiled eggs, and some processed cheese for protein. Oh, sorry, there was fruit yogurt, too. No elevator, get ready to carry your luggage up/down the stairs. Limited parking on the premises, more spots on a dirt lot across the street. Nice staff can't compensate for all these shortcomings. Won't be back ever. Like everything else these days, it will cost you more, and you'll get less... Paid a fair price for today's market, but outrageously high compared to less than 5 years ago, compared to what I was offered in exchange... Guess this is the new reality, though it's hard to accept...

The room was large, clean and had all the amenities. The front desk staff were all really amazing - I dealt with 4 of them as I stayed for 5 days. They spoke both french and english very well. The neighborhood was local which I liked also and it only took 15 minutes to get to the old city by bicycle.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. If we were to come to the city again we would stay closer to the old town. If you cannot carry your luggage upstairs easily ask for a gf room. Breakfast is self service and basic but their is plenty of it. I would say our overall experience was very good

For the price point, I was very happy with my stay at Hôtel du Nord. Friendly staff, easy check-in and parking, and the hotel and room was clean and quiet. I was very satisfied with the experience amd would go back.

Great staff. Very clean. Free parking!!! Good water pressure. Has a coin-operated washer and dryer. About CA$5 w/o detergent. Three floors. Elevator would be nice for us old and out of shape types, but in no way a deal killer. Reasonable dining options w/in walking distance. Free, help your self continental breakfast. Choices of bread to toast, butter, jam, pb. Packaged pastries, cold cereal, whole fruit (apple, banana, orange), coffee, tea. One serious correction that management needs to make is that there IS NO LONGER a restaurant on site. Guess there used to be, but not for some time.
