Surf Fortress is just a short 10-minute drive away from the surfer’s town of Raglan but is closer than there to get to Ngaranui beach and Manu Bay and walking distance from Whale Bay’s own surfing spot. Driving away from the coast, there are plenty of waterfalls and natures reserves to explore. Hamilton is only 45 minutes away, which provides all the major connections to New Zealand’s various cities.
