Although my overall experience was positive I was disappointed in the quality of the hotel in relation to its price per night. Our room clearly was not cleaned prior to our stay and even if it was there was plenty of dirt and other debris scattered throughout the room. The towels were dirty and they only provided 2 bath towels for a 4 person room. Understand that this facility seems old and aged but it’ll get the job done.

The room felt wet the whole time we were there. I also wasnt told prior to booking that the parking would be 50 dollars for the 3 days i was there. The included breakfast isnt breakfast. Its a muffin or danish. I was traveling with kids. I wouldn't have booked knowing there wasnt real breakfast. Only one elevator was working. Will not stay here again.

It's a nice enough hotel Ina great downtown location. Overall it needs some updating and maintenance. One elevator was not working, paint pealing in the hallway, a stains on the carpets in the common areas.

Incredibly kind staff! We were there the day all computers running Microsoft went down, and the team did a superb job handling the chaos. Great hotel for getting around Raleigh, plus it’s next door to one of the best restaurants!

Stay Away!!
This place is an absolute dump. Everything is stained and worn out. Was there for a convention and come to find out they charge $15 a day for parking. A/C struggled to keep the temperature below 75°. the vents were full of dust and got 2 of the 3 of us sick from breathing it in for 3 nights. The bathroom is so small the door slightly rubbed against the front of the toilet, you had nowhere to privately change unless you stood in the tub. This place should be torn down or condemned. mattress was the lumpiest I've ever slept on.

A friend and I stayed here for a concert/convention in the nearby area, and overall we enjoyed our stay a great deal! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and often struck up quick conversation at the front desk while we walked in and out in regard to the event we were going to given the costumes we’d be wearing to it daily. I do feel that the facilities need a bit of an overhaul in some areas, the towel rack in our bathroom was coming apart but not enough to pose a risk of it falling, and there were a fair few large stains on the carpet surrounding the rooms on our floor. The restaurant was unfortunately closed indefinitely, but we were able to order food online and have it delivered with no issues, so we weren’t complaining much in that aspect. Our room was tidy when we went in and the rest of the area looked to be cleanly, so other than some touch ups for amenities we have no complaints about our stay. I can understand how some may find issue in the hotel, but overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the staff for being as great as they were throughout the five days we stayed here.

Staff at check in was delightful! Lobby was decent looking, welcoming. We got to our room…DISGUSTING!!! Stains all over the chair, ottoman and table. The coffee table is filthy. The circling in the bathroom is peeling & and cracked. There is mold in the can holders in the fridge. I cannot believe that Holiday Inn would put their name on this property! Completely disappointed, especially paying $220/night!

Property is dirty, room had a weird smell. Entire building needs to be renovated. It is in a great location, but I will never stay again in that hotel. They should close it and renovate
