When we checked in the desk didn't share any info about breakfast, pool exercise room, the area... nothing. Breakfast had bagels but no cream cheese, 1 flavor style of yogurt and cold "hot" food. Coffee in the room and downstairs was awful. Bananas were black. Housekeeping staff was surly in the elevators and around the hotel. I wasn't even asking for anything when i got the glares. I never would have thought to get that experience from a Hilton operated hotel.

Awesome stay
First time visiting North Carolina and I absolutely loved it, the hotel staff was all friendly and very nice the hotel was perfect for our family trip the kitchenette, balcony and it was super quiet. I would 100% stay here again soon.

Some of the staff were friendly and helpful. Food staff was great, food was typical of a free breakfast. I did let staff know that there were cockroaches in both rooms I stayed in. The first room had them and also a pretty consistent water leak from the ceiling. They moved me after midnight. The guy was very helpful and told me he would let the manager know to compensate me. The room they moved me to must have been the dog floor because very early in the morning they started barking. When I checked out the girl was really rude and uninterested in speaking with me. Not sure why she seemed irritated with me when we never met and I didn’t complain to her at all.

I had 1 complaint. They said that room service is every orher day for length of your stay. Housekeeping did not clean our room and we had to go to the front desk to resolve the problem. We got our room cleaned on the third day of our stay

This hotel is old and it shows, I ended up having to check out early cause it was just gross. I found 2 roaches in the bathroom, the toilet ran all night so couldn’t sleep, the next night they had a party and the music was loud so got another night without sleep. The lobby is nice but the rooms definitely show their age!

The hotel itself and our room was very clean and well kept. The outdoor pool area was very dirty though. The pool is surrounded by trees and so a lot of debris had settled on the bottom of the pool and there was garbage and used towels all over the area. The location was excellent and check in was very easy. Breakfast selection was decent as well.

This doesn't work for me...the cockroaches I mean
Walked in to check in at the desk and there was definitely an "older" hotel odor. The receptionist was not at the desk and the lobby was dark and empty. We waited a couple of minutes and he came out of the back. We got our room keys and went to the room. Our reservation was non-refundable for $187. When we got to our room and opened the door, the odor got worse. In my ten years of experience as a REALTOR, that odor is mildew and mold activity. For $187, we are still in. The room was dark and felt very institutional, like a hospital room. As I left the living room area and went in the bedroom there were only the two nightstand lamps to light the whole bedroom. As I was checking out the bathroom, my 11 yo daughter called and said there was a bug on the wall. I grabbed some toilet paper and came to see a German cockroach crawling on the wall. Not a Palmetto bug. A Cockroach. As I chased it down the wall behind the dresser, I saw many other bug carcasses on the floor. I told the kids, gather your stuff. We went to the front desk, gave the tissue to the front desk clerk, who again was in the back, and let him know we can't stay here and why. I wish I had taken pictures. We went to the Garden Inn close by and had a phenomenal experience for $220/night.

Loved the easy process and clean facility. Nice and quiet and they allow dogs. Only thing I didn’t like was the shower seemed dirty so we didn’t use it. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
