Great quiet and comfortable place
Amazingly quiet and comfortable lodge with a great lobby, spacious rooms and super host. An added bonus were elk and baby in the backyard in the morning. Limited dining choices downtown but the basics are there as well as a great brewery restaurant and ice cream airstream.

Property is a central location for accessing Sunrise, Paradise and Longmire. If you are going to all of these places, it is fine. We saw a herd of elks outside of the hotel one day! Mt Rainier is behind of hotel. You can see the mountain on a clear day!

Checked us in 2 hours early on the busy Memorial holiday weekend when Packwood is packed. Provided parking passes for the event. Room was clean and quiet. The town just across the road.

Great place! Located in a small town, limited dining after 9PM. The food we did get (Blue Saloon & Grill) was great! The staff were a little short but had a dog so it made up for it. Beds were nice and the entire place was pretty quiet. The shower’s water pressure was EXTREME. It definitely got you clean, but it sounded like a fire hose. Overall a really great find for the price!
