AWESOME .. in every respect.
This was an awesome trip and experience .. literally. Everything about Robinson Soma Bay is just perfect .. not only that I can't think of anything that was not up to standard or something .. but I truly can't think of anything for them to improve on! The staff are sincerely friendly and warm .. they are not just doing their job! The beach is beautiful and quiet .. the food is top quality .. the room is super clean .. the location of the resort and its layout and landscape are wonderful .. there are so many different activities to enjoy day and night .. the restaurants are spotless .. THANK YOU everyone .. you made this such a memorable vacation.

Absolut toller Urlaub, der keinen Wunsch offen gelassen hat. Besonders die Tauchbasis ist einsame Spitze. Individuelle, auf das Niveau abgestimmtes Betreuung. Man fühlt sich absolut sicher. Das „Club-Leben“ muss man natürlich mögen und es hat auch seinen Preis. Abends haben wir leider häufiger die Party noch im Zimmer gehört. Mit Ohropax aber auch das kein Problem. Das kulinarische Angebot absolut top.

Das Hotel ist allem in allem gut. Die wassersportmöglichkeiten des Hotels (inklusive) sind top für windsurfen und Katamaran segeln. Das Wassersportpersonal ist super insbesondere Salah als Surflehrer. Es gibt verschiedene Boards und Segel in verschiedenen Ausführungen und Größen und in einem guten Zustand. Viele vom ägyptischen Personal sind richtig freundlich und fit, vor allem Aladin im Hauptrestaurant. Manche Köche, die Showkochen, könnten auch freundlicher sein. Da gibt es große Unterschiede. Das Essen ist vielfältig und sehr lecker. Es gibt auch eine gute vegetarische und vegane Auswahl. Manches auch Gluten frei. Die Getränke gegen Gebühr z. B. Cocktails sind bestenfalls okay, vor allem bezüglich der Preisleistung. Der Strand ist sehr schön und das Personal dort auch sehr fit. Wir haben einen Ausflug über robinsonaden gemacht, welcher nicht billig war. Der Ausflug mit Mahmoud war jedoch richtig super und top organisiert. Wir haben wären unseres Aufenthalts Feedback an das Hotel gegeben und es wurde direkt auf das Feedback eingegangen. Wirklich toll.

We will not return!!!
We (a family of 4) will not be going back and so we share here our overall experience: Positives: Outstanding Egyptian staff (waiters, house cleaning, doctors, all very good). A beautiful beach. Management dedication to evening variety. Negatives: "All inclusive" is misleading for those used to all-inclusive: drinks are NOT included and beware of their cost (adds another 20% to bill). Hobbycats are included but the wind is so strong staff do not allow them to be used (what is the point? good advertising? a few lasers could be used). Diving is not included either and the instructors are far from the best. Swimming pool far too small and permanently overcrowded for a resort of this standing. All the buildings are shabby; Windows don’t close properly. Moving furniture every morning - very noisy, so forget about quiet lie in! Food: abundant but low quality: sadly overcooked (hard) meat and fish. Couscous and lentils were undercooked. The wine served with meals is low quality, which encourages guests to buy better quality wines. Check-in: Lengthy check-in with no explanation. No orientation whatsoever on arrival Language: Everything is in German with zero translations (ever) and zero effort to be inclusive. For a family used to travelling internationally, this was quite an experience in exclusion! We will not return.
