Broadkill Beach near Lewes Milton Rehoboeth Delaware

This apartment provides you with the availability of unlimited activities & adventures that few people are privileged enough to experience. Located on the south end of Broadkill Beach, this spacious two bedroom property faces the sandy beach just a few steps from the front door. To the back of the property is your own private dock for crabbing ,fishing and kayaking . Come stay and enjoy our beautiful suite!

This apartment is a 2 bedroom in-law suite on the first floor of our home. The spacious bedrooms feature 2 twin daybed and 1 queen size bed. Each bedroom has access to the back deck with amazing views of the wildlife refuge. The bathroom is equipped with a oversized shower with grab-bars. There is also a small, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. It's a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner! Unlike many beach homes, there are only about 6 steps to walk up to this first floor reteat.

We do reside in the property, so Captain Steve is available to share his knowledge of the local fishing & crabbing. Bobbie will certainly assist with any questions about some of the best local restaurants and activities, including her favorite spa. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Exceeded expectations
The property and the hosts are amazing! The property had so many amenities and the location was just stunning! A beach cart filled with sand toys and beach chairs meant we didn't have to bring those things or haul them home. A well stocked kitchen meant cooking meals was easy, leaving more time for us to enjoy vacation (and save money by not always eating out!). We were able to crab right off the dock at the property and Captain Steve gave us a lesson in preparation and ways to enjoy fresh crab. I am already looking forward to returning in the future! I highly recommend booking this property.

Steve and Bobbie are fantastics hosts and lovely people. They made us feel instantly at home. We loved Broadkill Beach and the rental. Great views of Prime Hook marshes and easy access to the beach. Great get away

We had the perfect stay, perfect weather, and wonderful hosts. Our 4 and 6 year old granddaughters never tired of looking for clams of all sizes and sand fleas. It was a magical place for them. We relaxed and enjoyed their activity. Alsi had some greal meals in Milton.

Great location in Broadkill, as the south side has definitely become our favorite place. Perfect for the 2 of us to spend a few days for our anniversary. Quiet, clean, and a very quick and easy walk to the beach. The back porch facing the Preserve was relaxing and great for watching/listening to birds. Would definitely stay again. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The place was adorable and meticulously clean. Just a very brief walk across the street to the ocean. Umbrellas available already set up. Everything you need is already there so no need to tote chairs, sand buckets, or really almost anything except your own personal items! The owners were friendly, but not intrusive. Part of the deck on the back of the property is screened so you can still enjoy nature in the rain and mosquitoes (we did not have any problem with mosquitoes at this time of the season). Highly recommend!

If youā€™re looking for a no-frill, restful beach vacation this is the spot! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, lovely screened in porch and the beach is across the street over the dune! Steve and Bobbi are terrific hosts. Ideal vacation home
Steve and Bobbi's place was everything we needed/wanted. If you know Broadkill Beach, you already know that the location is fabulous, down toward the southern end of S. Bayshore Drive ā€” so quiet, so peaceful, and so full of natural beauty. Steve and Bobbi's place is on the canal side with ultra-easy access to the bay (90-second walk across the street), where they've got three beach umbrellas planted in the sand, a great landmark for finding your way home when you're swimming. The two bedrooms overlook the canal and are separated from the kitchen and BA by a winding hallway, so people trying to sleep don't hear noise from kitchen or BA. I could say more, but I'll just cut to the chase: The only reason NOT to stay here is if you don't want to be at Broadkill Beach.

Complete comfort in a quiet natural setting
Great place to spend a few days if you want to get away from crowds, traffic, and commercial/developed areas. Bring groceries and enjoy easy meal-prep in the well-supplied kitchen. The place was spacious (for the two of us) and immaculately clean. The deck out back offered hours of quiet solitude overlooking the vast green marsh preserve with sounds of nature. The sound of the ocean (technically the Bay) beckoned right out the front door and we had the beach to ourselves almost (until the weekend). Beach Plum Island nature preserve is right down the street. Breathtaking views of the marsh wilderness and bay shore the way nature is meant to be. We will go back as soon as possible!
