This hotel had the best location for our trip to Iceland. Located close to main shopping and dining options and the old harbor too. Historical sites are all around and its close to a bus stop. We loved the staff.

Property located right downtown, close to everything. However the facility is a bit outdated, in particular the noise level from squeaky floor upstairs is an issue. There is no onsite parking either, you’ll need to park elsewhere for more than 3 hours and scan a discount code from hotel front desk. The rooms are small but cozy, comfortable linens except very soft pillows, would rather have the option to choose firmer pillows instead. Still a recommend.

Very helpful staff, great location. Coming from the US, it has the typical drawbacks of European hotels: A little noisy, open showers with no door/curtain, no A/C. Wouldn't hesitate to choose it again, however.
