You kinda get what you paid for.
This was a spur of the moment trip and everywhere else was fully booked. Thank goodness it was an overnight trip only. The room itself on first glance wasn’t bad but when you start looking harder, it’s clear whoever cleaned it did a half-assed job. Stains on the carpet, not vacuumed around the edges of the carpet, shower head, remote, phone, and lamps not wiped down. I get that housekeeping is a physically demanding job and hard work, I’ve managed hotels in the past and I’ve done housekeeping, but it really is a few extra minutes that makes a difference. I wish the owners cared about their property enough to invest in fixing it up, people who can’t afford 400+ stays deserve to have a nice place to stay at too. Whoever painted the rooms last time did an awful job and there was about a three inch hole in our bathroom door? Maybe get a better maintenance guy? It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed at but it doesn’t come close to the best. If you’re staying one night and just need a place to stay this is fine enough and gets the job done.

The place is in need of an update. The room was fine, except for the loud traffic noise. I suggest asking for a room facing the rear. Pool was out of commission.

Acceptable budget option
This was a perfectly acceptable budget option. The room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Although an older property, it is well maintained. I appreciated the 100% smoke (all smoke) free rooms! The proximity to the road results in traffic noise and there isn't an elevator (so if needed specifically request a ground floor room).

Guy was rude at check in. Insisted there was something wrong with my card even though I was on the phone with my bank while he was running in his non working cc machine. Booked based on pets allowed. When we arrived the amenities signed had a post it note on it saying pets not allowed. Only stayed here because limited rooms available for event weekend. Definitely will never stay again or recommend

We just stayed a night to rest. It look like the area was not safe. During the check-in the receptionist checked us thru the window and then gave the key card. Carpet was dirty.
