Romantic getaway

We had an amazing time at Bluebay! Clean rooms and facilities, good food, magnificent view of the beach and the sea, the zumba/ pilates classes and Friday night gala dinner are bonus. (PS: we'll book a very special family gathering here next year!)

Tolle Lokation an der kalabrischen KĆ¼ste mit einer herrlichen Aussicht von jedem Punkt auf dem GelƤnde. Schƶner privater Strand mit einem groƟartigen Weg/Abstieg zum Strand, Der bei 30 Grad aber durchaus schweiƟtreibend sein kann. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Traumhotel mit Problemen in der Gastronomie

Das modere Hotel befindet sich in einer traumhaften Lage, etwas erhƶht auf den Klippen, mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Personal an der Rezeption und das Reinigungsteam war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Die Gastronomie muss jedoch dringend verbessert werden. Uns wurden pro Person 70 Euro fĆ¼r die Halbpension verrechnet. Das wichtigste Ziel im Hotel ist offenbar, Food Waste zu vermeiden. Die Speisen waren lecker, aber die SchĆ¼sseln und Platten blieben immer wieder leer. In den Ferien mƶchte ich jedoch das Essen vom Buffet entspannt geniessen und nicht jeder Gabel Spaghetti hinterher jagen. WƤhrend der Mahlzeiten war man immer wieder Ć¼berrascht: 20 Minuten nach Beginn des Abendessens war die SuppenschĆ¼ssel leer und wurde erst viel spƤter wieder aufgefĆ¼llt. Beim FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck waren die Weintrauben nach kurzer Zeit weg, meist blieb die Platte leer. Oft gab es kein Geschirr mehr, das Besteck fehlte, die Schalen fĆ¼r die FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksflocken waren nicht mehr da ... Die Bedienung im Restaurant war nicht hilfsbereit, die AtmosphƤre steril und unfreundlich. Der Kaffee kam aus einem Automaten und war scheusslich. FĆ¼r den stolzen Betrag von 70 Euro erwarte ich in einem 4 Sterne Betrieb einen andern Service.

Der Wille ist da, aber ....

Erster Eindruck recht positiv. Zimmer sehr unpersƶnlich eingerichtet. Alles auf schnelle Reinigung ausgelegt. Auf persƶnliche GegenstƤnde, die dabei im Weg liegen wird keine RĆ¼cksicht genommen. Obwohl das Hotel noch so neu ist, weiƟt das Objekt erhebliche BaumƤngel auf. Das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck war okay. Das Personal im FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksraum jedoch absolut Ć¼berfordert. Zum Strand fƤhrt ein Shuttlebus, in den 6 Personen passen!!! Irgendwie ging es Ć¼ber den Steilhang aber auch zu FuƟ. Alles in allem ist der Preis fĆ¼r dieses Resort absolut Ć¼berteuert. Und wenn man ohne Pkw vor Ort ist, nicht zu empfehlen. Kalabrien ist wunderschƶn, die Aussicht vom Hotel entschƤdigt fĆ¼r die vielen negativen Dinge. Es sind die vielen Kleinigkeiten, die den Aufenthalt abwerten (Fernseher hing schief an der Wand, BadtĆ¼r lieƟ sich nicht schlieƟen, kein Schrank im Bungalow fĆ¼r 4 Personen!, Wasser lƤuft aus der Dusche ins Zimmer...).
