The Farmhouse At Spring Farm

The Farmhouse is one of THREE homes at Spring Farm - If you are needing more sleeping space, we recommend renting them all together - Hollyhock House and Stone Cottage. For WEDDINGS, WORKSHOPS or LARGE GROUPS please find our website for more information. No RV's, campers or tents allowed on the property or on the street.

Come be rejuvenated by the peace & beauty of the Farmhouse at Spring Farm – our one acre plot in the heart of historic Spring City, Utah. With four bedrooms and three full baths, the home comfortably accommodates 13 people. It was recently built to today's highest standards but in the historic style of the pioneer homes of the area, offering the best of both worlds. Named one of “America’s Prettiest Towns” by Forbes Magazine in 2010, Spring City and the surrounding area have so much to offer! Our family Farmhouse has been the center of many family gatherings and wonderful memories, and we're confident you'll fall in love with it too.

The space - Sleeping 13 max
The main floor bedroom has one double bed (sleeping 2); the Yellow Room has one queen bed (sleeping 2); the Red Room has one double, one single and a built in bunk (sleeping 6); and the Blue Room has one queen and one single bed (sleeping 3) . The farmhouse lives large, but is cozy enough to make smaller groups enjoy the space just as much. Crisp white linens and towels and basic necessities are provided. You will enjoy the large fully-stocked kitchen with spacious counters, a family-sized eating area with double doors that swing open to the living room, and doors that access the farmhouse porch. The views from there stretch across the large grass area, the treehouse, the Barn and outbuildings and onto the snowcapped peaks of Horseshoe Mountain.

There is a simple beauty to enjoy at the farm. There is a natural spring (which runs intermittently) meandering through the length of the property. Take a long walk or bike ride along the quiet streets of Spring City. You will likely see deer, sheep, chickens, geese, llamas or any other of Spring City’s many animal residents. Or best of all, just curl up with a good book on the side porch.

Rural Spring City is located in scenic Sanpete County, and lies in the shadow of Horseshoe Mountain. Sanpete County is renown for it’s wealth of Pioneer Historic homes, and Spring City is it’s gem. The entire town is listed on the National Historic Register, and in 2010 Forbes Magazine named it one of “America’s Prettiest Towns”. Slow down and enjoy Spring City’s unhurried pace – the town has no traffic lights, a renown Café, a lovely Sweet Shop and many art galleries and studios. Having been discovered by artists years ago, it has grown into a vibrant Arts Community that attracts visitors from far and wide. The main Gallery is housed in the restored “Strates Garage”, a turn-of-the-century auto showroom that now displays the work of the local artists. Whether you come for the Historic Architecture, the quiet rural pace, or the Art Events & Festivals – Spring City is sure to rejuvenate the soul.

Guest access
The entire Farmhouse is yours for your stay. The beautiful timber framed barn at Spring Farm is also available to rent for weddings, corporate retreats, and other gatherings, both large and small. Please call for more information or visit our website.

The neighborhood
Any time of year, a short twenty minute drive takes you to Manti, home of the LDS Manti Temple and the Manti Pageant, or to the award winning Palisades Golf Course and Lake. Also within a 10 minute drive is Ephraim (Snow College), or Mount Pleasant which enjoys an old time Drive-In Movie Theater, various shops and restaurants.
The nearby mountains offer a variety of opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing in Maple Canyon, fishing, canoeing, cross-country skiing, ATVing, and snowmobiling (rentals available nearby). Yuba Lake is a fifty minute drive for boating, water skiing, windsurfing and other water sports. For more information on Sanpete County festivals and recreational opportunities, visit their website.

Other things to note
Fall and winter are lovely times at the farm. The fall colors in the nearby Manti La Sal National Forest are breathtaking, and Skyline Drive makes for a lovely way to enjoy the autumn colors. When the snow flies there is a peaceful serenity around town, and it is hard to beat the tranquility of being on cross-country skis, snowshoes, or even a snowmobile in designated areas of the national forest. Snowmobile rentals and tours are available nearby.

Amazing property!!
If you you are looking for a turn of the century Farmhouse feel with all of the modern conveniences, this home has it all. Inside is spacious and decorated and beautiful antiques. Each room is unique. Even though you get the feeling of staying in a home that's over a hundred years old, you have the convenience of double paned windows, central air and heat, a totally modern kitchen, a washer and dryer, and plenty of bathrooms with showers and ample room. The only modern "convenience" sacrificed for authenticity of the time period, would be the size of the beds. The beds are full size instead of the more spacious queen, but for most people this is not a deal killer. They are comfortable. The yard is HUGE with a perfectly manicured lawn, large trees, and a small creek running through it. Our grandkids came by to visit us when we were there and had a blast outside. This home and yard would be perfect for a picturesque wedding. We went on the self guided tour of the town and found ourselves traveling back in time to a much cleaner, simpler, and more wholesome day. The homes and architecture remind you that some time ago people took the time to build structures which were intended to be both breathtaking and to survive more than a hundred years. If you want to stay somewhere with a crazy bumping bar scene and nightlife, this is not it. But if you enjoy the sounds of birds in the morning, bubbling brook during the day, and crickets at night, then you will be in heaven.

What a beautiful historic home! It has been updated to include all of the modern amenities but it was done the right way so none of the historic charm was lost. Our group had a great time and our kids came away telling us we should buy the property! It was perfect!

Most Charming Farmhouse
We had the best stay in the charming, quaint farmhouse! The entire group loved it. The house is clean, well stocked, in a lovely small town, and the yard was incredible. The owners responded quickly to all questions I had and were so kind and helpful. The only disappointing part of it all was that the yellow room picture on the listing shows 2 beds and said it sleeps 4 but there was only 1 bed in there. I would absolutely stay here again!

Charming to the core!
We stayed two nights at the "Farmhouse at Spring City". It's absolutely charming from the outside in. It has all the modern conveniences of a 21st century home but with the warmness, comfort, and enchantment of an 1800 farmhouse. It's really awesome!

Stop looking and rent this house!
I rented this for a sister/cousin retreat and I loved watching them all come into the house and hear them squeal. It is just the cutest home. So totally furnished. Kitchen was great! We did not need anything for cooking as far as cookware, etc. Very well stocked. There was even leftover salad dressings in the fridge. The house is decorated to the pioneer times, which we loved. My husband's family started this town, so it was just the most fun to stay here. Don't miss Das Café for breakfast or lunch just across the street. Also go to the pottery shop of Jim Bennion's. We drove by Mt. Pleasant on the way home and that would have been a fun stop as well. The old school house on the next block from this house has a great museum for free (donations accepted.) There are plenty of movies and games at the house. The deer welcomed us as we arrived, which we all loved. The were across the street. The house is a new build, not a refurbished home, so all the appliances and bathrooms were great. Washer and dryer were nice. My only critic would be if you can't sleep with any light, you might bring a sleeping mask as the windows do not have full drapes or shades. Didn't bother us. Also, there wasn't really somewhere to hang clothes. Again, no problem for us, but just an FYI. Becca, was a joy to work with and she was right on top of any questions we had. It was great to have the one bedroom and bathroom downstairs for our 88 year old cousin. The other bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs. They were all wonderful. It rained most of the time we were there, so it was so nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy our family and this cute house. We loved it!! I rent a lot of homes on this site and this one is right at the top of my list! Thanks Becca and family for a wonderful week! We loved it!

The house and the grounds were wonderful. Never have been to Spring City and that was a great place.
We really had a wonderful time. We felt like we had plenty of room and there were enough bathrooms to accommodate us. One thing that was a little disappointing was the quality of the beds. They were uncomfortable. The furniture in the living room was not very comfy either. We watched several movies together and it just didn't fit us all very well. The house was so cute. The kitchen was awesome. The little girls raked some leaves and enjoyed jumping in them. The geese next door were great and we even saw some deer. We loved the experience and would come back. Hopefully our suggestions will be helpful. We are curious, was the house renovated, or was it brand new? It was great. Thank you!
