Very convenient bed/dinner place for Richfield Springs NY as we were there for a funeral. A three story walkup with restaurant offering only dinner (good). Well kept, clean, quiet though currently work being done outside during day, ample parking. Fully booked for weekend weddings in October. Ample heating with electric radiator. No lock on entrance but we felt safe. Family owned and present daily.

Had the best time here. It was short lived but I loved every minute from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant. The wine was reasonably priced; the mussels were great. My only complaint would be the last seating at dinner is too early (5:30) and the potato skins were way over cooked. But the service was EXCELLENT - a young man whose name Iā€™ve forgotten. This is the most peaceful place Iā€™ve ever been and the decor was historical with a nod to the nearby townā€™s baseball love. I stopped here on the way to Fenway Park - the oldest ball park in history so I appreciated this. There is laundry, a fridge, and a kitchen sink on site, and the room was charming. There were plenty of stocked fireplaces outside ready to enjoy, and coffee/water in the lobby. Reception staff was great as well. I canā€™t boast about this place enough and am highly anticipating a return visit.

We enjoyed the rustic character of this property. The lake view was fabulous. Dean will have your fresh brewed coffee ready every morning. Patrick and Sabina were friendly and welcoming making it a warm and friendly stay.

It was in a very beautiful spot, exceptionally clean and grateful for the AC in our room. We were in town for a wedding so we had booked 3 rooms. The televisions in the rooms were smart tvs and you had to log into the streaming apps to watch anything but our tv had no remote. It is the bathrooms that were our problem. Our room had the biggest shower but 1 room had a very low shower head that was difficult for our 6 ft tall son to use. All 3 bathroom showers had horrible water pressure and temperature fluctuations. The water pressure wasnā€™t too terrible but it would change from good temperature to scalding hot and when you readjusted the knobs to a good temp again, it would change to freezing cold. Once again, when you readjusted, it would last about 5 seconds before it was scalding again. Itā€™s such a shame because we loved the atmosphere, the rustic cabin feel and the comfortable bed. Even the uneven floors outside the rooms we felt were quirky and cool. The web site says we got free breakfast but we never saw anything. We did eat lunch there though and it was very tasty. We never saw a desk clerk or attendant until it was passed check out time and we were leaving. We only received texts. The keys were hung outside our rooms when we arrived and thatā€™s where we left them when we left. The towels were smaller than a bath sheet and we couldnā€™t ask for any extra ones. Would stay there again if the water issue was fixed though
