Basic but clean and comfortable
The Steveston Hotel was in the perfect location for everything we wanted to see. It’s an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Steveston Village, and the historic Gulf of Georgia Cannery is right across the street. There’s free parking for hotel guests in the lot directly behind the hotel. All of the accommodation is up a long flight of stairs. There is no elevator. The ceiling is high and we didn’t feel at all cramped in our room. Everything was basic but scrupulously clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again.

This was probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Our room was directly above their pub and nobody warned us that they would be blasting music until 1:15am. Apparently there is a warning on the hotel website, but we booked through the app and there was no mention of it. The music was loud enough that I could make out all of the lyrics and feel the bass vibrating my bed. When I asked the pub (which I believe has the same ownership as the hotel) to turn it down, they refused and told me I could call the police if I had an issue with it. The hotel isn't staffed overnight, so there was nobody there I could ask for help. Hotels.com also did nothing to help when I contacted them. Needless to say we didn't get to sleep until after 1:15 and had to be up early the next morning. It was definitely a tough time trying to drive home 4.5 hours the next day on roughly that amount of sleep. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone

Very quiet neighborhood, large room with a jacuzzi tub. Decor is a bit outdated, but clean and inviting. The only issue for accessibility would be the stairs. The staff were friendly, and accommodating. Parking was free. Restaurants and grocery store within a very short walk.

Property is old, our room was very outdated BUT very clean. I believe other areas have been updated at hotel. The location is amazing ! Walking distance to wharf, numerous trails, restaurants and more. Great place to stay, will stay there again on our next visit.
