Perfect location!

Amazing location with a pretty big room. It was an amazing prices and super close to everywhere we wanted to go. We checked in early and got out room straight away. Breakfast was also good. Only draw back was the room had a slight sewage type smell, which was coming from outside/the street.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful. We were able to check in ahead of time with no issue. Breakfast offered a good selection. Design rooms are well presented, quirky and comfortable.

This hotel was in the old town of Riga and was perfect for walking around. I did book this particular hotel and paid extra so we could have a 'castle' room for my daughter. When we checked in the 'castle' room was under construction so we were not able to have this experience. Very disappointed as this was the reason I booked this hotel.

We loved being so close to the centre of Riga. The room was good but a little noisy through the walls from other residents but the hotel provided ear plugs with this in mind. Breakfast was interesting as it was catering for a wide range of tastes.

Great location to Old Town Riga and the Christmas Market. Staff was wonderful. Parking was cheap and easy which was a huge bonus since Riga is very difficult to find a parking space. Nice quiet hotel. Only complaint was the mattresses. We got the 3 twin bed room because our grown son was with us. The beds were like sleeping on hard cots. If they got new mattresses it would've made it the perfect experience! But loved the location, and the town of Riga was my favorite from our trip to the Baltics. Best Christmas Market ever!

The place looks like it's never been even painted since the opening of the hotel. Everithing is dated back to 2000s.... smallest shower I've ever seen in my life: I know many people who wouldn't fit in. Not soundproof whatsoever! Uncomfy mattresses and the squeakest bed you can imagine: neigbours were banging wall during our moments of passionate romance...

Would Never Stay Here Again - False Advertising

Original room was on the ground floor right across from the cooridoors for people. Mattress hurt my back and was very thin, tv did not work, showers were VERY tiny for adults, nightlight on one side did not work, and you could hear everything from the lobby, elevators, and all the other rooms. Since the windows looked right into a walking space, you could not leave any curtains open for any lighf without giving up your privacy. Even if you could manage to squeeze into the shower, you could not raise your arms to wash your hair. I gave up and opened the shower door to discover the bathroom floor had lots of water. I went to the desk to inform them of the issues and was just given towels to try and make the floor not slippery and dangerous. The sleep in this room was the worst ever due to issues. We changed rooms the next day after lots of resistance from the hotel. This room had a bathtub instead of the tiny shower and even had shower caps, which did not exist in our original room. This room had a thin mattress, but it was slightly more comfortable than the first. This room was the same size, but just laid out different. The room was still very noisy as you felt you were a part of every conversation in other rooms and in the cooridoors. We, at least, got some light in this room, but the tv only had five (at most) working channels. We voiced our concerns about the two rooms not being anywhere close to how they were advertised and met with silence.The hotel ignored every attempt

The building has lots of character, but my room was nothing like the room pictured. There was noise from the street due to a venue open until 2am opposite, room noise from other guests at similar times & I explicitly asked for a room away from noise, eg stairs & lifts. They put me opposite the lift & next to the stairs. Whilst the stay wasn't terrible, the fantastic Riga experience was spoiled somewhat by all the above, plus them having a full facade renovation (building works) at the time, they didn't notify me of. Not a disaster, but the worse bit of Riga for me.

The architecture was beautiful. The too was a good size & the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was within walking distance of most historic sites. The bus to the airport is right behind the hotel making it very convenient. Staff was excellent & Kitty was especially helpful. The bed could use some fluffy pillows as the ones on the bed were flat. Otherwise, I had a wonderful time in this incredible City & I shall return in the future.

Difficult.

Difficult stay. Was given room 316. It’s located in the staircase. Very strange. The WiFi did not reach that room very well at all. Often had no WiFi. The room was much smaller than I selected on hotels.com. Was moved to the room type I book for the second night. It was the size I had booked. Wi-Fi worked well. This hotel needs to update all its traditional rooms. They are feeling very dated.
