We have successfully hosted over 150 happy guests, whilst we are newly listed on this website.
As you travel past paddocks and down our driveway, you will immediately be aware of the peaceful, rural retreat you have chosen.
You will arrive at your home for your stay, with its racing-green painted original stable doors and wood-stained panelling and you will know you are in safe hands.
Our stables are finished to a high standard so that you have a fantastic 'home away from home' in the heart of the new forest. A perfect base to explore local attractions from Beaulieu to Bournemouth.
Enter your self-contained stables in the gardens of our country home and you will find:
Main living area: Large dining table, L-shaped sofa bed, TV, radio/CD player. Also in one corner of the main living area are the kitchenette facilities, which comprise: tea/coffee making facilities, pots and pans, microwave size combi oven, single electric hob, kettle, toaster & fridge with mini freezer compartment. Please note there is no kitchen sink and we do your washing up for you.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over. This used to be our tack room!
Main Bedroom: Once a working stables. Now a tastefully decorated and spacious guest room with comfy double bed, chest of drawers and TV.
Second Bedroom: Twin beds, chest of drawers, chair, TV. This bedroom is accessed from the first bedroom, as well as having access directly outside through the original stable door. It has its own en-suite loo & sink.
Seating outside and parking for up to two cars at your door.
Towels and linen provided.
This home is classed as part of our house, although it is in a separate and private area of our property. This means the kitchenette area is basic - but you should find it serves your needs alongside a few meals out. We do all your washing up whilst you are staying with us. Judging by our reviews, our guests enjoy these arrangements and many eat out during their stay.
The nearest pub, The White Buck, is one of the most popular in the area, a 5 to 10 minute walk away and you are advised to book your table well in advance of your stay as it is very busy all year round. An alternative is The Queens Head in the village, 1.1miles and a 20 minute walk from the stables.
Please note that whilst dogs are usually welcome they must be accompanied at ALL times and we will always want to agree this in advance with you based on a few house rules and a small additional cleaning fee that you will need to be able to agree to.
Finally please note that this is a no smoking property inside and out. If you and any of your guests will be unable to wait to smoke away from our property then this accommodation is not suitable for you. We strictly enforce this policy and thank you for your understanding.
