It was terrible. The Hotel has zero security. I had stollen from my room a sum of 600 Reais. I think that Hotels.com should erase this Hotel from searching.

The lobby consist of old discarded furniture with undesirables, drug users, homeless people loitering inside. The room was my worst nightmare, horrible linen, filthy bathroom, broken 1970’s box television, wires hanging out from the wall, dirty floor and linen which I refused to sleep overnight on! The noise in the hallway was unbearable. The only way to get WiFi is go to the lobby which was consumed with the workers and some apparent friends who watched the soccer match, therefore no seating. The photos are extremely misleading. It’s lower than a hostel! Please don’t make my mistake in booking this property! I couldn’t and didn’t stay!

No WiFi in the rooms. This is a 2-star hotel, claiming it's a 3-star so it can bill 3-star rates. I was there for 4 nights. I asked for a change of linens and new towels after 3 days and was ignored. The mattress was very lumpy. The aircon has an on/off switch on the wall but there is no remote. Temperature cannot be changed nor can you increase or decrease the fan. They have not put any money into this hotel in many years and you can see it because everything is old and dated.

This is the most TERRIBLE place I have ever been to in the most dangerous section of Rio! It looked almost nothing like the pictures! Everything that could have a stain on it, DID have stains on it, this includes the bed sheets, the bed cover, the pillow cases, the walls, the floors, the toilet, the shower…EVERYTHING. There was a bug crawling under my sheets upon checking into the room! I took a video and showed the guys at the front desk, who didn’t speak ANY English by the way. I then switched rooms. My second room had even worse stains than my first room. Outside the window was cigarette buts, spit and ashes from someone smoking. I took pictures and showed this to the front desk as well. They never cleaned outside the window. They ONLY have Wi-Fi in the lobby and they kick you off the Wi-Fi every few minutes so there is NO REAL WI-FI ACCESS!?!? I booked for 7 days, but had two sleepless nights there due to the bug situation in my sheets in the first room. I decided to check out after two nights and request a refund for the 5 nights that I booked but wouldn’t be there. My request for refund was denied by management. They also charged me additional taxes upon checking into the room which is NOT mentioned in the ad on Expedia for this “hotel”! No other hotel or hostel has done this to me in Rio! Also the breakfast was the most horrible thing I have ever smelled or tasted! This place is NOT tourist friendly and the staff seem xenophobic! I will be leaving a YouTube review!

This is hotel is The Worse place that I have ever stayed, it is following apart. Moulds ever, the air conditioning is not working, no blankets no shower towel, very dirty, the room it hasn’t been clean for a while. I complained at the reception and they told me if i didn’t like I shall leave. Very rude and aggressive receptionist, I will report this hotel for the health and sanitary vigilance authorities, it is not safe for the public. My life was in dangers , so I left

Worst hotel, vomit stain on wall next to bed
This is absolutely the worst hotel I've been to in 35 countries of travel. This was probably the equivalent of a jail. The bed sheets have stains on it. Didn't have all the beddings on the bed. There was a complete vomit stain right next to the bed. I ran out of this place as soon as I got in. I really don't think hotels.com should Host this hotel. too many negative reviews and I think this hotel is gone far enough!

First of all the hotelwas hard to find, because the name outside is still Hotel Centro...there is no parking at all. On the phone they where rude and slow WIFI is just available in the small lobby. The location is good, near the beach (maybe 15 min) and surrounded by shops. But the room wasn’t clean at all (lotta hair and other weird dirty things, I didn’t even wanna know what it was) They didn’t clean our room and at the reception they don’t care at all. We didn’t risk to try the breakfast.

Estadia com muito problemas de limpeza , pois não passava no quarto sendo assim o banheiro foi o que mais ficou em estado precário, pois molhava ele todo e não tinha um rodo ou pano de chão pra aliviar, ficávamos em meio a um barro. Solicitei 4 vezes na recepção a limpeza e no penúltimo dia da estadia que por acaso encontrei com a camareira no corredor e a pedi para passar no quarto. Ar condicionado muito antigo e tomado por poeira e não funcionava em meio a um calor intenso. Roupas de cama sem troca, café da manhã razoável.

Péssima experiência! O quarto era extremamente desconfortável e sujo, sem qualquer tipo de suporte ao hóspede. O café da manhã oferecia apenas o básico do básico, o banheiro tinha um cheiro insuportável de esgoto, e o ar-condicionado parecia ser da época da minha avó, completamente ineficiente. A recepção foi terrível, os funcionários não sabem resolver nada e ignoram qualquer pedido. Fiquei hospedada por 7 dias e o quarto foi limpo apenas um dia, sempre que eu pedia pra limpar ninguém eles falavam que ia limpar e no final do dia quando chegava no quarto estava do mesmo jeito. e o ambiente era extremamente barulhento, tornando impossível descansar. Além disso, o hotel fica em frente a um trilho de VLT, o que impede que Ubers ou táxis parem na porta. Definitivamente, não recomendo e nunca mais volto!”
