This is a beautiful restored hostel, but as the same with hostel average cleanliness is not a priority even if you are in a private room. Specialy my room had a vintage door not sealing the frame, allowing all kind of mosquitoes get in to the room, not a pleasant night!

The building itself is a very interesting piece of historic architecture that has been modernized to house this hotel/hostel-complex. I especially loved the breakfast buffet, close to the pool area which invites you to chill during the day but you can also get some remote-work done in the quiet areas with excellent wifi. Last nut not least, the staff is very welcoming and helpful! It's been an absolute pleasure! Muito obrigado!

Amazing location and wonderful breakfast. A gem away from the buzz and stress of the city that is also within walking distance from the Cosme Velho station heading to Christ the redeemer. Check-in was extremely slow - it took us more than one hour to get our room - but I guess it was due to the high season situation. I would definitely stay here again! Totally recommend it.

It’s was the worst experience ever staying at this hostel. It’s a place run by inexperienced staff, rude to the point of insulting the guests, offering bad quality food, bkfast with rotten fruits, no daily cleaning in the rooms, no face towels or soap in the washing basin. Fire alarm went off 5 times during the night till 4 am. Pool is used by non guests, rain water comes inside the room, no restaurants or shops nearby. Avoid this place !

O hotel é ótimo! Café da manhã muito farto e muito bom! Os quartos confortáveis, o espaço externo ótimo tem Pisicinas aquecida e além disso aos finais de semana tem eventos como pagode, samba dentre outros! Tem restaurante, barzinho tudo para uma ótima estadia! O local é lindo e o bairro super tranquilo! Super recomendo! Uma única observação é quanto a tapete para o banheiro que escorre água mesmo tendo box então seria bom ter um tapete para banheiro. Fora isso tudo muito bom os funcionários são educados e atenciosos! E além disso tem segurança 24h no local! Muito bom para família porque você pode aproveitar o espaço enquanto as crianças brincam!
