Holiday apartment on a wonderful, ancient residence, which in the 19th century hosted the literary circles of Andrea Maffei, art critic and translator of Goethe and Byron. The apartment opens onto a beautiful covered loggia and a terraced, fenced, equipped garden, and offers views of Lake Garda, the surrounding vineyards, olive groves and the town of Riva del Garda. The furnishings are simple and include some antique pieces of furniture. The owner apartments in an independent house at the entrance to the property, while the 2nd building is occupied exclusively by apartment IVG401. Lake Garda (sailing school, windsurfing, tennis courts and public swimming pool) is only about 1 km away. The location of the apartment gives you the opportunity to explore the small, characteristic villages of Lake Garda both by car and by boat. Trento 35 km and Verona 95 km.

Rare opportunity
If you would appreciate a truly historical setting with views from every angle this is a very rare quality opportunity. Set slightly above the town you get amazing views of the mountains and valley from a large Romanesque terrace, large private grass area, and from every window and doorway of which there are many. The home is 200 years old and mixed with antique and modern decor we found enjoyable. If you need convention and a/c or being in city center not here but we found walking to the ferry or reparking an acceptable trade off to experience a rare estate villa.
