The main building is beautiful and good food options. However the rooms that are not in the main building could be better. The deck ceiling had wholes and the deck looked outdated. For the price of these rooms I would expect more.

I loved the design and layout of the property for the main building but was originally put in an extremely small room on an adjacent property across from a boiler room which was so loud I requested a new room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Grand Roatan to celebrate my husbandā€™s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel went above and beyond to make the occasion special by surprising us with a complimentary cake and bottle of wine, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, concierge, or restaurant teams, showcased their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests. Itā€™s clear they are dedicated to creating a memorable experience for everyone. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful location with a pristine beach and lush surroundings. One of the major advantages of this property is its distance from the cruise ship crowds, allowing for a serene and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape. While the experience was nearly perfect, I did find one minor drawback: the hotelā€™s complimentary shuttle service to the West End is only available after 6 PM. This limitation can be a bit inconvenient for those who want to explore the vibrant area during the day (and not use the water taxi). Expanding shuttle service hours would certainly enhance the overall experience. Despite this small critique, my stay at the Kimpton Grand Roatan was amazing. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway.

The staff were absolutely beyond top notch (especially Leandro Vega, Teddie Thomas, Dinia & our server at The Drop Off). We adopted a stray dog and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure she got to be with us all times, brought her a bowl of water as soon as they saw us. The property was very well laid out, and very easy to navigate. The number of daily activities available were beyond impressive. The bed, pillows, and linens were heavenly. Definitely one of the top resort experiences weā€™ve experienced and beyond memorable.
