Great Getaway
We booked off season at the last minute to get away, and Ty was a welcoming host. Hot tub was excellent and very clean. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. If you want to stream some tv, you will enjoy the reclining couches. Beautiful area.

We had a small group stay here for a fishing weekend. Ample parking for all 3 of our rigs and could have easily fit a 4th. House was clean and had everything needed. If stairs are an issue for you this is not the place. I would recommended staying here to anyone looking for a place in this area.

Amazing experience at a magical location
Ty’s place exceeded our expectations. The view was awesome. The unit was very clean and full of nice complimentary items. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and already the perfect temperature. And our 11 year old rescue dog Toby was welcomed to stay with us. Which saved us money on boarding and made it feel like a family friendly outing.

Beautiful view and awesome host!
Very spacious and clean, can't beat the view and is very well stocked! We lost power due to a storm the first hour we were there and Ty (the owner) came out immediately and hooked up a generator until the power came back on about 24 hours later! Couldn't ask for better service than that! I would highly recommend staying here!

Awesome as always
This was our second time staying at Ty’s place. It was just an awesome as the first time. Ty feels like family, he is super nice and accommodating. The condo/apartment is always well equipped and super clean. I never worry about the cleanliness of dishes or linens there and the linens are soft and cozy. Ty puts extra special care into making your stay feel special and comfortable. The location is awesome with stunning views. Truly a gem. We will most likely be returning at some point. Would definitely recommend. The only downsized for us this time was only one bathroom to share between two ladies. Haha. But we made it work.

Freighter Haven
The property is set up well for any freighter enthusiasts like we are. You can watch them from the upper deck or from the hot tub. Ty made the check in very easy and thoughtful. Although he has a place downstairs we never saw him after check-in. He respected our privacy and had everything we needed in place. The hot tub was clean. The bed we slept in was comfortable (king size). We had our own little paradise for the weekend. Thank you Ty!!

Wonderful getaway watching the freighters!
We had a wonderful birthday getaway at this VRBO that is located on the Saint Clair River. Ty’s place was very clean, comfortable, peaceful, and we loved all of the little touches that he included. Watching the freighters was a lot of fun and relaxing, from the hot tub or deck! The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was like new. We will definitely stay here again.

It was not communicated that the owner lives in the property. Areas that were advertised to be used were shared spaces with the owner. His kitchen window overlooked the hot tub and he would close the lid while we went upstairs to use the restroom. We ended up leaving early and he txt me at 11 pm asking where we went. Why and how would he know we left? Very creepy and uncomfortable stay for 2 females alone.

Much needed relaxation!
This property was so nicely kept and in a beautiful setting right on the water! There were snacks and drinks left out for us if we wanted. It was very warm and welcoming! And the bed my husband and I got to stay in was sooooo comfortable!! Also, Ty was such a wonderful, friendly host! He even invited us down for a party he was having and we got to meet his family and friends that were all so very nice! We will definately be going back here to stay! The fishing was great too!

Ty was a great host and the house was just about perfect. We were concerned about privacy early on when I read the house was shared with the owner but I couldn’t have been more wrong.. We saw him once during check in and that’s it.. (Albeit just a quick phone call away, if need be) The amenities were over and above expectations. We greatly enjoyed some croquet that he offered and the balcony view of freighters was Outstanding. It was one of the best vacations that we have had in a while.. We have intentions of returning there next year! 😀

Great Stay
We had a great time. Ty is a fantastic host. So flexible and responsive. He allowed our dog family to come too. . The guys fished off the sea wall and we all enjoyed watching the freighters. Close to Marine. City and we love it there. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and antique stores too.

Amazing Property
Too many amenities to list - but I will attempt it anyway: -Amazing piece of land right on the St. Claire River. -70 in TV, TV in every room -Comfortable beds -The fluffiest bathroom towels -All the kitchen utensils you would ever need -Great view from the second floor deck -Great view from the living room -Clean, large hot tub -Grill, fire pit, horse shoe pits We had a fabulous stay. Our dogs enjoyed running and playing on the large piece of property. Ty made sure our EVERY need was met - great host! We will definitely stay here again.
