The staff are very kind and most of them helpful. Our key wouldn’t work to open the door. We went to ask for a different key and a gentleman at the desk wouldn’t respond at first and reluctantly made us a new key. When using the key in the lock you could see and hear they door lock release but still couldn’t get into the room without giving the door a good shove, then the door would open. The next morning we released that you didn’t need to use the key as the door itself was broken and you could just shove the door open. The entire doors around the building didn’t lock and anyone could walk into the building. We couldn’t use the pool or hot tub as the water was freezing cold. Part of our choice to stay at this hotel was because it has a pool and hot tub. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. But the evening staff were not for the most part impressive. We couldn’t get a refund to find another more acceptable solution as we pay through Expedia a third party. Not one of our more pleasant experiences.
