They need to clean the pool and pool area. Also have beach towels available at the pool. Need ice and food/drink vending machines on every floor. The staff was great and beds are very comfortable.

We felt so unsafe the entire stay we took our belongings with us every time we left the room. We were on the first floor and every 15-30 min someone would stand right at our window smoking cigarettes or marijuana. The smoke seeped into the hotel room because they were so close. The first night 2 larger parties spent hours drinking in the lobby and kept us awake until midnight. This hotel is not safe or appropriate for female travelers or families. Management said they couldn’t do anything about this because smoking is legal in CT. Also the card reader on the door from the parking lot was broken so the door was propped with a large rock instead of being locked.

Booked through hotels.com. May have been mistake number 1. Over charged for guests, had an employee tell me they would fix it and didn’t. Called Holidays Inn and they said they would fix it, but that it’s hotels.com that would make that decision. They’re playing games, taking every penny from people that they can. If you can go without staying in the area, that’s what I would recommend. Very poor customer service from hotels.com and this holiday inn. No shower curtain, keys didn’t work(and yes, we kept them away from our phones). Thanks for an overpriced and rate place to rest our heads.

The Holiday Inn Express in Rocky Hill was great for our one night stay. Desk check-in person was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor and was clean and ready as expected. Was not a fan of the pillows, but that is mostly personal preference. Besides that all was well. Did not use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained.

I stayed here for one night and since arriving I was very happy with the cleanliness and wonderful staff. Excellent customer service. The room was sparkling clean and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

It seems like when booking through Expedia, I am given a worse room than if booking directly. The hotel needs a renovation, especially the first floor. There was a beeping noise that continued from 8am-7pm, after asking it was noted to be the industrial driers that turn off around 8pm every night. The room was expensive, $300, likely because of a high school sporting event. The athletes were up until 1am slamming doors seeming to be oblivious or just not caring about the others in the hall. Employees did not intervene despite this occurring on the first floor. It was not worth the money, stay at another hotel.

Location is good as it is near restaurants & shopping. However the room was on 1st floor next to exit door , people were going in and out until 1:00am and the door slams shut every time. VERY loud. There is no reason for a door to close that loudly as I am sure something to slow door the closing could be installed. If you stay here do not stay in room 100
