We loved our stay at Bollo Apartments. The size of the room was great, We had two young children and having the upstairs and downstairs was very convenient. We didn’t really see many staff- as the hotel is most unstaffed at reception, but we were lucky and were able to drop our luggage off before check-in. There is a very convenient and helpful bag storage shop just around the corner, If you need arrive before you check in, or plan leave Rome after your checkout and don’t know what to do with your bags. The only downside for us was that the children need to be really closely monitored to use the bathroom, It is up the stairs and the staircase is quite unsafe or small feet.

Great location! Staff was easy to deal with. We arranged a late check in and clear instructions were left for us to get in. Room is small however I think this is normal for the location. This is not a 5 start but We had no issues with plumbing or hot water as seen in previous google reviews. Bed was a little too firm and we should have brought earplugs. Would recommend to stay here as location is excellent and overall was a good experience, fair price.

The property is cozy but clean and walkable to all the main attractions in Rome, as well as shopping and eating places. The staff is very friendly as well. The area is a little noisy and the property is quite old. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Basic no frills hotel - clean and close to everyth
This hotel is a basic no frills hotel. It is not a “hang out in the hotel” type or hotel. Room is clean but not fancy. It is 30 minute walk to Vatican, Coliseum, Trevi and Pantheon. I would stay there again. The shower was amazing

A gorgeous stay with the friendliest staff. The apartments are in a terrific location and beautifully maintained. The staff provided a smooth and welcoming check in experience and check out was extremely easy. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Rome. So much charm and history.

Very unique and worked out very well for our day in Rome. The 'double' or queen beds were just to small mattresses pushed together. It was not ideal for my wife and I but was satisfactory. Or room had a kitchen, but it there were not many dishes. It was ok for short stay, and we didn't even use any of the dishes or cooking equpment. But if for longer stay with family expecting to cook meals it was probably not enough.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable
This was my second time staying in Bollo Apartments, last time I stayed here was 7 years ago and my memory of the place was so extremly fond, I went out of my way to stay there again this time around. It did not disappoint! The location is fantastic, all the main tourist sites are within walking distance. The nearby piazza hosted a wonderful market full of local foods and other produce and was a great spot for an early evening pre dinner drink, great atmosphere. The apartment itself was quaint and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to another return visit in the future!
