First time to Rome.
First trip to Rome. Casa Santa Sofia Hotel was perfect for us. In the block there were restaurants, a fountain with a faucet with cold water, gelato place and lots of shops. Christi greeted us at the checkin counter and couldn’t have asked for a kinder clerk. She made sure we knew where everything was in the hotel, provided us help with tours, taxis rides and how to get around. We would be lost without her. Thank you Christi, we already miss you.

This hotel has a great location (there's restaurants, shops, and a metro station close by). The female staff that we mostly engaged with at the front desk during the day was top notch. There was another male desk attendant that filled in the evenings he didn't care too much or have much knowledge about the area. My biggest complaint about this hotel is the shower. I am barely 5.3" and I could not fit into this shower. The icky shower curtain made showering a horrible experience each day. Further there was a lot of mould on the tiles and floor of the shower ( I have photos). After a long day of out and about in the scorching heat, all one wants is a nice shower. This shower has to be one of the worse I have ever had to use.

Located on a cute, small piaza with a fountain and several restaurants, this hotel is easy walking distance to the colosseum and other major attractions. It has been nicely renovated, is clean, and the staff is quite helpful. There is a safe in the room, large enough for a laptop. The ONLY drawback I found in my room was a lack of drawers and closet space for multi-night stays. I would definitely stay there again! We were there during a very hot summer, and the air conditioning worked great!

This is a beautiful hotel located minutes away from the colosseum and many other famous Roman landmarks. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and replaced if needed.

Beautiful hotel
This was the nicest place we stayed during our 2 week Europe trip. The breakfast was great, the location was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Worth every penny! When we first arrived, we popped into the closest restaurant (right by the door!) called Angeletti’s, and loved it. We ate there 4 days in a row haha. There’s a fountain by the hotel entrance and a gelato and desserts place! You could almost make a day of entertainment and stay within 50 feet of the hotel. I definitely recommend this property.
