Good little Hotel, which I probably will return to, clean, staff helpful and breakfast good., especially the Scrambled Eggs! Slight issue with the initial booking as we asked for twin rooms but got doubles but this was resolved. This is well located for tourists being close to some major sites. Thanks Hotel Patria!

Is this hotel the greatest hotel of all time, no. Honestly though, I didn’t go to Rome for the hotel. Could it have been a little more updated, sure. Could the air have worked better, sure. Could the bed of been more comfortable, sure. All in all the staff was always SO nice and helpful and that goes a long way. We enjoyed our stay regardless of the little things, besides it was cool enough most days/nights to keep the window open. The only down side to that is hearing all the traffic and such more.

My stay in this Hotel was a total pleasure!! First of all the staff was super kind, helpful and friendly and really cared about my comfort. I want to thank Dennis at front desk for his attention, kindness and customer support!! The location is amazing: a block away from the subway station and close to great dining options, city center and shopping. The room and bathroom were super clean, updated, and a confortable bed to rest after a long day walking beautiful Roma! I highly recommend them!!

Clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good but not extensive. Seating for breakfast was limited. Excellent location- easy walking distance (2 mins) of closest metro. Major sightseeing- Trajans column and Vittoriano monument 15 mins walking distance.

Stayed here a total of 4 nights, the staff were extremely helpful in giving information with transportation, dining, and all other needs. The room had good air conditioning during the heatwave, beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. For the price everything was perfect, next time I’m in Rome I will definitely be back! Hotel is also walking distance to all of the main attractions in Rome

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a perfect location. The first floor is all new (where they have taken the photos that you can see at this website) and the rooms there do look really nice but unfortunately all other floors were really dated - hopefully they will keep up the refurbishment.

My room was extremely small, one of the smallest I ever slept in. The carpet in the room was old, stained, and dirty. The worst was the bathroom. In smelled of sewage so strong that I needed to breathe through the mouth to be able to use it. The challenge however was brushing my teeth. I had to brush them in the room, just rinse them over the horrible smelly sink, trying not to gag. I asked to be assigned another room, but the receptionist told me that the hotel was full. I spent 5 nights in those disgusting conditions. The Patria Hotel ruined my visit in Rome. Also the area Hotel Patria is located is noisy and looks unsafe at night. I could hear screams in the street every night. How could this hotel be rated “good”?

Staff were lovely and so helpful and friendly - specially the guy on reception when we checked in. The room was a bit tired, but lower floors looked fresher when we passed. The bed was great, shower was tiny, breakfast was decent. Location was good and easy to find.

Clean, centrally located, great friendly staff and a nice fresh breakfast. You don’t spend much time in your room so what more do you need for a trip to Rome whilst sight seeing? It was great for us as a group of girls. I would upgrade to the better rooms next time though.

Location is walking distance to Roma Termini and some tourist sites. The staff were nice and attentive. My only issue is the size of the shower stall which is 2ft by 2ft in area. It was very difficult to shower with that small space. The room and bathroom were clean daily during the duration of my stay.
