Highly recommend!!!
I have stayed here the last 5-6 years, whenever I have a layover in FCO, and it never disappoints or gets old. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful- just what I want between hectic trips. Breakfast and the restaurant are all I need, delicious, fresh and tasty. Take a walk around the marina or borrow a bike to ride to the lighthouse or into town, either way you will not regret your stay at Porto Romano.

Quick stop in Rome
This is a great hotel close to the airport but far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re staying at the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are very large compared to others in the Rome area. It’s right on the water- and It’s about a 40min taxi ride to Rome (65euro). We highly recommend.

We had one night in Rome and wanted to be close to the airport. There is a shuttle which takes you from airport to the hotel which is in a marina and quite lovely area. It is about 15 minutes (not 5 lol) away from airport and the facility is lovely. Staff was very nice and helpful. You can shuttle back to airport to take train into Rome.

We arrived late at the property and despite the restaurant being closed they accommodated a hot snack and coffee for us at the bar which was very much appreciated after a long flight. The rooms are clean and it was the perfect location to relax before our flight out of the country Airport was only 15mins away and check in/out was very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.
