The room itself had a few things that were either broken or not working (safe, toilet seat, stinky water). It was in a great location. The staff compiled all the check-ins of the day at 1 o’clock, which caused some confusion and a bit of a backlog.

Very overpriced
It’s fine, but is very overpriced for what you get. The place is cheaply done, leaky shower head/ stall, not very clean blankets, basically what you would expect for $30/ night rather than $150. We had a place booked for $50/ night and they cancelled last second on us, so we had to scramble to find something and this was all we could get. Maybe it’s cheaper farther in advance and then it would be ok. Also, when checking in the woman demanded 30 euros cash in tax even though the tax was paid already. I watched her put it in her own wallet.

Property was in a convenient location. The rooms were very clean but REALLY small. Much smaller then they appear in the photos. Reception was open limited hours which made it inconvenient to check or to get any assistance regarding the area.

This is not a hotel, B & B, or apartment but something in between. My family of 4 booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were hot when we arrived & 1 required AC repair to turn it on. After turning the AC on, both leaked & required bath towels to soak up the water. Even w/ the towels, the water ran across the room. They shut off the AC while we were out in 100 degree F. My daughters came back to broken tiles and pliers left on the floor. No amnesties. Rooms not as pictured. Very small. No where to put luggage. Small showers with no water pressure.

I would not stay here again!
It was not a Hotel just rooms scattered throughout a huge apartment complex. Badly decorated. Furniture falling aprart. Bedding not great. There was a kitchen public space with a refridgerater that was all. No microwave. Barely silverware, dishes, glasses. There were dogs barking, and a crazy man yelling. Ashame for all who lived there. We could not wait to get out of that place.

This was a great little find in trestevere! Clean room, close to restaurants and a 30 minute walk to the Vatican. Complimentary breakfast was an added plus. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and have us a map.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and aimed to please us. The room was clean, well maintained, comfortable and affordable.. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The property was conveniently located to mass transit, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our 7 night stay and recommend it.

This place was pretty gross. My husband and I are low-key and maintenance people, hence why we stayed at a spot like Res Belli instead of another. This hotel, however, was a head-shaking disappointment. The bathroom facilities (esp. shower) smelled like old piss, which made the whole room smell sour and repugnant. The floors were also sticky, and the air conditioning unit hardly worked. The only positive about this place was that we did not get bitten by mosquitoes while sleeping with the window open and the noise level was low. I would strongly suggest anyone considering a stay here to pay a little extra for a nicer place.

Friendly staff members. Nice breakfast and very pleasant girl (never got her name) but made all the difference with her smile and friendliness. Also the young gentleman that check me in was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. Great staff!

First of all, when we got there he told us they had plumbing problems. So he was going to put us in one room for the first night and move us to a different building for the second night. The first room was okay, very small shower & bathroom but the room was decently spacious. The next morning, they had us waiting for hours to move to the next room. We had to haul our bags down the cobble stone street and up stairs!! The lock was janky and took 10 minute to open. Oh and the bathroom had BLACK MOLD!!! And the bathroom flooded after a 2 minute shower rinse off. Not inhabitable! Sending pictures to Expedia

Clean, convenient and friendly, but not reliable
I have mixed thoughts on my stay here. It was very difficult to check in, as we arrived after 8pm and reception had closed. Breakfast is requested via a form each morning, but what we received varied each day (sometimes rolls, sometimes cake etc) and it could take a very long time to arrive which delayed leaving in the morning. The rooms are all along one corridor, and the walls are thin. It means that when the cleaning/breakfast staff arrive at 7am they clatter and chat in the hall (obviously fine/necessary) but it did mean we were woken every morning by their arrival. Similarly other residents arriving home late at night and banging around was also noticable. Also, I found the wifi very slow/unreliable even for simple whatssap messages etc. Having said all of the above, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean, if a bit small. The gap between the bed and the bathroom was very narrow. Good air con unit kept our warm cool at night, and hair dryer was good compared to those you often get in hotel rooms. Rooms were modern in style and bathroom was good too. Residenza Belli is located in an area full of bars and restaurants which is convenient and lively. This didn't cause any bother with noise etc, and felt safe to walk around etc.

Was not happy being sent around corner up 3 flights of stairs away from main area left to fend for ourselves in filthy kitchen to make own coffee in the morning only instant coffee and cappuccino machine, burnt hand trying to steam milk!! Breakfast selection very poor rooms 13 and 12 there . Pre booked to return in 3 weeks no cancellation refund . Thanks for nothing Hotels.com!!! Maybe main area is better,hopefully we will be able stay there on first floor upon return!

Its an apartment at ground level, but they say "views to the city" (?). I arrived 30 min later the time I had ordered for breakfast, and the lady said "too late, I've thrown everything ". The place was very impersonal, wall paper worn... definitely not recomended, maaany places mcuh better for same price.

Great bed, super comfy. Shower was very small but hot water flowage was delightful. Free breakfast was great but they ran out of a few selections on a few mornings and substituted our order without asking us. Also the WiFi was spotty and sometimes didn’t work. Overall great location, however! Maybe opt for a bigger room?
