Beautiful place in Rome
We stayed at Francesca’s apartment for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The place was airy, clean and comfortable. She left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Unfortunately, we did not get around to opening it. Our loss. The bathrooms and showers were small, but served their purpose. There were plent of towels for everyone. Great restaurants right done the hill and around the corner. I would recommend Francesca’s place!

Absolutely perfect!
We had the most amazing stay in Rome! Francesca was incredibly easy to deal before and during our stay. The house was very clean, had all the essentials and as a family of 5 the three bathrooms were very appreciated. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make the most of the backyard, but I can only imagine how lovely it would be sitting out there and enjoying a spritz after a long hot day exploring Rome.

September Visit
Ideal location for a Rome visit. 10 minute walk to St. Peter's Basilica/Square (we got there by 7:30 am and the line to visit--for free--was 15 minutes or less on the two days we went. 5 minute walk to the 64 bus that takes you into Rome's center., ending at Rome's central train station. 20 minute walk to nearest Metro stop (be sure your ticket is validated or the ticket cops will fine you--having purchased a ticket that is still valid is not good enough). Outdoor patio area provides a common space for gathering. Francesa's communication/timeliness of communication is excellent.

Four Night Stay - August 2024
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. Peter's Garden Apartment. The host Francesca was lovely, really helpful and kind. The apartment was very clean with all the facilities that we needed for our stay. It was particularly useful that it had three bathrooms as we were accompanied by our teenage daughters. The excellent air conditioning system was much appreciated with the outside temperature around 38 degrees centigrade. We were ideally located for all the places that we wanted to visit and had restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. It was a quiet location, with no noise at night and the bonus of a private garden area. We were grateful for the thoughtful welcome pack of provisions such as milk pods, breakfast pastries and olive oil before we could make our first supermarket visit. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would love to visit again. Thank you very much Francesca, Luca and family.

Excellent host and a great escape in Rome
We enjoyed our stay at “Your Home in Rome.” Francesca our host was amazing at helping us with logistics, and she also arranged transportation to/from cruise ship and airport. The location is perfect for strolling historic sites in Rome. The unit is spacious and provided us the ability to relax on the large patio everyday.

we had a wonderful stay at Francesca’s villa. The location was fantastic with short walk to Sistine Chapel and decent restaurants nearby. Public transport was nearby and easy to use even with the language difference (English in our case). And Francesca was most helpful

Great spot in Rome
Wonderful place to stay in Rome. Blocks from the Vatican, close to transit and easy to get around from. We were 3 adults and two teens and Francesca's place fit us well. She is a great host and was very helpful and supportive. We will stay with her again when we are back in Rome. Grazie!

Great spot to stay!
We had a great stay at the Garden House! It was in a great location, such friendly hosts, and we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. It was a hot couple of days we were there and the air conditioning worked the best of anywhere we stayed in our two week trip around Europe. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

Wonderful Garden Home
A wonderful apartment with a large patio area that adds to the peaceful feel of the accommodation. Two good sized bedrooms each with adjoining bathrooms. There’s also another bathroom and kitchen/living space that made it comfortable for 5 of us. It’s also in a great location near Vatican City and a 10 minute walk to an area with several restaurants and cafes. The host is easy to communicate with and very friendly and goes to extra lengths to make you feel at home. Can’t wait to go back for another visit!

Great place to stay when visiting Rome
The property was very nice for our family of five. The outdoor terrace was perfect for spending time when not out experiencing Rome. The bus stop was close and we had no issues getting around Vatican City or the rest of the city. The only drawback was a pretty steep hill that had to be climbed when returning from the long days walking around all the sites. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful at making sure we were well situated for our vacation.

We stayed here while we were in Rome for two nights. Francesca was great! She greeted us on arrival, helped with luggage and provided advice on the area. The apartment was spacious and the outside was lovely. You didn’t feel like you were in a big city at all but were right next to the Vatican (walking distance). Excellent! Would highly recommend!

Perfect location and space
Francesca was more than accommodating with the check in and check out process. This location was within walking distance to the Colosseum, The Vatican, Basilica. We had 3 adult couples. The outdoor patio was very relaxing and a nice place to gather as there was not really a common area inside. The "3rd bedroom" is actually a pullout sleeper in the kitchen area. The air conditioning was wonderful. There is a washing machine but no dryer. Would recommend a taxi ride to the location as there is a hill from the main road which could make pushing/pulling luggage a bit challenging. Two flights of stairs to get to the lower unit but there is also an elevator. I would highly recommend this location for those that want to be within walking distance to local attractions. We did take a taxi service to the Travestere area. Again, Francesca was more than accommodating and communication was efficient. I would stay here again.

Great location close to Vatican
The property was clean and the owners were very friendly. They allowed us to drop our luggage early. I would recommend this property to families. It was nice to have the 3 bathrooms. The outdoor space was wonderfull as well.

Great Rental But be Prepared
This rental is wonderful. Loved the patio, the room layout’s, and its close location to Vatican City. Francesca was wonderful. Always responded timely and was very helpful. Now what to be prepared for. This home is located uphill from the main roads. Then slightly downhill from the road. So if you have mobility issues this rental is going to test your abilities. It’s a workout to say the least if you walk down and back up. If you always Uber wherever you go or are younger(we are late 60’s) then this rental will provide everything you would want. Again it’s a wonderful rental. Just wanted you to know what to expect.

Rome with forever friends
Our stay in Rome was made even more wonderful with Francesca’s rental. It was perfect for my friends and my husband and me. There were 4 of us girls who have been friends since kindergarten and we let 2 of our husbands come along 😊. The apartment was perfect for all of us. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and visiting and enjoying a glass of wine. Francesca met us at the apartment when we arrived and was so helpful the threes days that we stayed. Anytime we had a question we could call or text her and she always returned our call. She lined up transportation for us to the airport when we had to leave. There were many wonderful restaurants we could walk to. You won’t be disappointed staying in Francesca’s beautiful rental

Great place to stay near The Vatican!
We had a great experience on this property. Francesca, our host, was very friendly, available and attentive. The apartment was beautiful, well located near The Vatican (5-6 min walking), and also, to the bus and subway stations. The place is quiet, and we rested just right after our touring al around downtown Rome, and touristic plazas and museums. Her home had all the accommodations that we needed. We travelled with our 5 year old daughter and my mother in law. each of us had our own bedroom and bathrooms. Each of them were big enough for us, and comfortable. It was a perfect place! We would come back.

Francesca is the best Vrbo Host I have ever met
I am not kidding. My husband and I spent 14 days in Italy with my senior parents and my nephew. We stayed in six locations, but we were already spoiled by our first location in Rome. Francesca’s reviews were the #1 reason I wanted to stay in her apartment. Everyone said wonderful things about her and they were all true. From initial inquiries to assisting us with airport pickup, she was always friendly, helpful, and gracious. Her apartment was quiet, comfortable, and clean. There are two full rooms and the pull-out couch area also had a door, so you could count it as a third room. All beds were comfortable. She has many features including a nice patio to sit with your family after a long day of site-seeing. She had a washer and the liquids to use it. She had refreshments and snacks, too. The apartment is located near a bus line that could get you to city center in 20 minutes or less. We walked it a few times and also took cabs. Use FREENOW - an Uber/Lyft like app that will save you loads on taxi money. I would absolutely stay at Francesca’s apartment again. We did a toast to her on several occasions in other cities where we wished she was there! (We had some “not great” hosts in other cities). Thank you Francesca for being wonderful ! 😊

Fantastic
We were all very happy with our stay. The host was very accommodating and kept in communication with us. We had a family emergency during our stay, and I cannot imagine a more caring and helpful person as Francesca. It is a pleasure to have stayed in this home and known this amazing family. I highly recommend this location for anyone vacationing in Rome. I also also found the immediate neighborhood very safe to walk. Very close to the Vatican and other shops.
