Utter disgrace!
Requested a quiet room but was subjected to a night of hell with loud music until 2am in the morning. I went down to complain just after 1 am but instead of turning the music down they turned it up and played ‘I’m a Barbie Girl’. Only the proprietor would have known that this is my name and it was a blatant two finger signal to his guests. The walls buzzed with the reverberation. Initially when we arrived the man who attended our arrival was sat talking to people the other side of the bar. Again when we came down for drinks and again later when I went back to the bar. Very unprofessional. The room was freezing and took 6 hours to heat up. The radiator in the bathroom didn’t work at all. The shower was a joke as the pressure was very weak and temperature not that hot. Food in restaurant however, was good as was the breakfast. Dirty table cloths at breakfast though and cheap tiny paper serviettes. Was not told when breakfast was to be served so guessed as nobody ever answered the phone whenever I rang. Will not return due to the treatment we received. Hopefully under another change of new management soon!

The room (number 6) was very small and had nowhere to hang my clothes and when asked the chef was the only person around who aid it was his first day and looked in the room but couldn't help. I had to put the clothes I could hang on the back of the shower room door. There is free internet and staff where friendly. Free onsite parking. The food was good, including the breakfast which is served from 07.00am. The bed was okay, but if you are a light sleeper you may have trouble in this room, due to the noise from the road outside.
