The Space:
We are honored to welcome Angel Falls into our 5 Star portfolio! This handsomely appointed property offers a rustic mountain cabin setting with all the luxury accommodations you're looking for! Recently renovated from top to bottom, the furnishings and decor offer a harmonious blend of contemporary and mountain style. Perched above the Rio Ruidoso, Angel Falls takes advantage of the views and tranquil sounds of the rushing water below. The log and riverstone exterior feels like it's a part of the natural landscape. Open up the bank of sliding glass doors to let nature in. The scenery is sure to amaze with views of the mountain, aspen and ponderosa pines that reach up to indigo skies.

As you drive up to Angel Falls there's a gravel parking area level to the road for easy access. 17 steps lead down to the front door. As you step inside you'll be greeted by a foyer. To your right is the eat-in kitchen that flows to the open dining and living room with views out the bank of sliding glass doors and access to the back deck. There's plenty of seating, outside dining table and gas grill ready for burgers!

The primary ensuite is accessed left of the entry foyer. The space is lovely and welcoming with chic furnishings and linens in clean whites and cool grays. There's a cozy seating area for 2 nestled by the wood-burning fireplace and TV. Plenty of space to unpack in the walk-in closed. Large sliding glass doors offer magnificent views of the river, mountain, and tall pines. Step out onto the deck and relax to the sounds of the river with a hot cup of coffee. The 4 piece private bath offers a spa-like feel with new tile, huge walk-in shower, dual sink vanity with granite countertop, and best of all is the glorious soaking tub to melt your cares away!

A cozy guest bedroom is just off the living area and features a queen bed, closet and windows with views to the west. Just off the living area is a fully updated bath that services the guest bedroom and also functions as a powder bath.

Just off the foyer, steps lead down to the awesome game room, complete with ping pong table, big screen TV, snack station, leather sleeper sofa, books and games. Step up to a large hallway with game table, seating, and access to the laundry room complete with washer/ dryer and full size refrigerator to keep drinks cold. 2 bedrooms and a full bath are access from this space. Both bedrooms have queen beds, windows with views out to the river and closets. The full bath features shower/tub combo, toilet and dual sink vanity with granite countertops and lots of storage!

From the game room, a door leads out to the lower level deck with seating and perched above the canyon and river below. The walkway leads to the private hot tub, sparkling clean and ready for relaxing under a night sky full of stars! A stone step walkway leads down to the riverside where you'll find a private deck with dining table and seating for 4.

Located in Ruidoso's Historic Upper Canyon, the neighborhood is a wonderful place to call home, perfect for long walks and access to trails. A short drive to Grindstone Lake and Ruidoso's Midtown shopping district, the location perfectly offers peace and tranquility and convenience to all the attractions and amenities to suit everyone in the family!

Angel Falls is equipped central heating and mini-split A/C units for your comfort. Operated by remote control, the mini-splits provide quiet and efficient cooling and also additional heating in winter months. 3 wood burning fireplaces (firewood not provided) Services include free Wi-Fi , Smart TVs for streaming and premium cable services. There are TV's in both living areas and the primary en suite. NO PETS, NO SMOKING. NO PARTIES.

SLEEPING: Primary Ensuite: main floor, king bed, wood-burning fireplace, walk-in closet, private bath with huge walk in shower and soaking tub. Step out balcony w/ river views.

KITCHEN: Updated eat-in kitchen boasts gorgeous granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, drip coffee maker w/ ground coffee & sweeteners, basic spices. Stocked with plenty of cookware, small electrics, and just about everything you'll need to prepare meals. Just bring the groceries! A propane gas grill is on the main level deck with propane provided (please do not use charcoal or wood)

BATHROOMS: stocked with essential toiletries. Bath towels, hot tub towels, and linens provided. Guest bathrooms have shower/tub combo, sinks with counterspace, toilet. Accessed from seperate doors outside the bedrooms, they also function as convenient powder baths.

DINING: Dining area with seating for 6. sofa table/ bar seats 3, and 2 at eat-in kitchen peninsula

OUTDOOR LIVING: large decks on both levels overlooking the river. private outdoor hot tub off lower deck, NEW riverside patio w/ dining table and seating for 4!

ENTERTAINMENT: 2 big screen TVs located in the main living area and downstairs game room w/ cable and Netflix. Free Wifi. Game room has plenty of seating, sofa bed, wood-burning fireplace, big screen TV, ping pong table, snack area w/ microwave, full refrigerator in laundry room, and step out balcony with seating above the river, access to private hot tub.

Guest Access:
SELF CHECK IN: Access code for the lock box is EMAILED to the reservation holder w/in 48 hours of arrival. Be sure to complete your guest check in form after booking and provide your email address and contact phone.

DIRECTIONS AND CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS: For the privacy of any staying guest, physical addresses are not provided until booking and confirmation is complete. .

DIGITAL GUESTBOOK: Directions, check in instructions, and everything you'll need to know are available provided in the digital guestbook! The link is sent via email after booking and completing your check in form. We'll also send via SMS text message prior to arrival.

ACCESSING THE HOUSE: There is 1 parking area with space for 3 vehicles and is level to the road. A walkway with 17 steps leads to the front door. Guests have full access of the home except for any locked doors that are for owner access only.

RIVER RULES: Swimming and wading are NOT permitted in the river. This is for your safety and protection of the river environment.

PET POLICY: pets are limited to no more than 2 and under 35 lbs each. Please adhere to our 'Pet Courtesy" policy while on property.

The Neighborhood:
Ruidoso's Historic Upper Canyon follows the Rio Ruidoso. Winding roads pass through the mountains with tall pines, quaint bridges and lots of wildlife. Amazingly, you're only 7 minutes from Ruidoso's bustling Midtown and 9 minutes from Grindstone Lake. From Upper Canyon, it's just 7 miles to Ski Run Rd, the turn off to Ski Apache. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, perfect for listening to the mountain breeze in the tall pines and star gazing at night.

Ruidoso is a picturesque alpine village nestled in the the Lincoln National Forest of Lincoln County, boasting some of the greatest areas for outdoor adventure with over 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, 3 area lakes, championship golf, and more. A day trip can be filled with amazing natural wonders at White Sands National Monument, and Valley of Fire State Park. History buffs will enjoy a short drive to Fort Stanton and even Old Lincoln, the city were Billy the Kid made his famous escape! Head to Ruidoso Downs and watch the quarter horse races live! In the winter months hit the slopes at Ski Apache. Packed with fun and adventure, Heaven's Peak provides the perfect vacation home to create lasting memories.

Getting Around:
Roads through the neighborhood are paved. Some areas around Ruidoso and Alto are hilly to mountainous but generally easy to get around year round. During winter months, guests are encouraged to have access to 4-wheel drive and/or snow chains in the event of a major winter weather event. Check weather and road conditions before travel.
