About this property

Cana Tent & Breakfast (FLX Glamping for 2+)

Enjoy glamorous camping-Glamping!-in our namesake boutique platform tent. Sleep 2-3 glampers in this elegant tent with queen bed, daybed, sitting area, and spacious front porch to enjoy the views overlooking our peaceful koi pond. Enjoy a truly off-grid glamping experience where you can literally "unplug." Relax around a nightly community bonfire (weather permitting), with our Gourmet S'mores box and enjoy complimentary, homemade, locally sourced breakfast. This is a great option to introduce the kids to glamping!

The space
Your 15'x20'x12' boutique safari tent is pitched on an elevated wooden platform with a spacious front porch, in addition to the roomy inside with a full sitting area. The comfortable queen-size bed is dressed with linens, coverlet and pillows, and inviting, themed decor carries through the entire space. In addition to the daybed in the tent, there is ample space for an add'l cot or air mattress (dressed w/ linens) to accommodate a fourth glamper. Outside you'll find a private picnic area and BBQ grill as well as a solar shower and private privy.

We have a large open-air pavilion where you are welcome to enjoy your complimentary homemade, locally sourced breakfast. And don't hesitate to ask about upgrade options for a gourmet lunch pail or weekend dinner basket for two to save time shopping and cooking!

Our private property features some 30 acres of groomed walking trails and a koi pond with a dock, and paddle boats. We are truly off-grid, off-road, and while your glamping experience will be distinctively pampering, be prepared for solar lights and lanterns, (no electric), "green" alternatives such as a solar shower, and the sights and sounds of occasional woodland wildlife and a few neighboring farms. Bring your spirit of adventure, and get ready to relax amid true peace and quiet - a feast for your senses!

Nestled in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, our glamping site is centrally located between three beautiful glacial lakes: Canandaigua Lake (approx. 6 miles away), Seneca Lake (approx. 14 miles away) and Keuka Lake (approx. 12 miles away), where you'll find numerous Finger Lakes wineries, breweries, cider and distilleries within easy driving distance. Our area also boasts a wealth of hiking trails, waterfalls, and naturally occurring pools for those wanting to experience nature's best. Ask us about some of the "quieter" local gems where you can avoid any crowds.

You'll find ample parking at the end of the winding, one-lane road to reach our woodland property and your boutique glamping tent.

Other options and miscellaneous items to note:
For those attending concerts at the nearby CMAC venue, (only 10 mins. away!), ask us for directions to arrive "the back way" and avoid all stoplights. If transportation is desired, advance arrangement may be made with your reservation.

Looking for fresh fruit and produce from nearby farm stands? Just let us know what you're looking for and we're happy to provide directions, as there are SEVERAL nearby!

Quick note: we cannot accommodate pets, and appreciate your understanding.

Off the grid, exactly as described
We had difficulty finding the place but after that things were fine. I think the host was annoyed that we were running late getting there but I was requested to let her know when we were 15 minutes out which I did - unfortunately we had to drive around for about an extra 5 - 10 minutes because we couldn't locate the place. The tent we stayed in was well appointed and nice. It was the most comfortable bed we've slept in! Each tent has it's own very clean port-a-potty and outdoor shower (which we didn't use). If only the bullfrogs had an off switch, it would have been a great night of sleep. It was peaceful sitting on the front porch and reading in the afternoon. Rainy and Jeff are incredibly friendly and nice. It was nice meeting them. Jeff built a nice campfire and Rainy provided delicious homemade marshmallows for roasting. We were unable to stay for breakfast the next morning. It would have been great to have coffee available when we woke up but with no electricity it's understandable. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Perfect getaway
My husband and I had one night to get a way and this was the perfect spot! Beautifully decorated tents with amazingly comfortable bed. We had so much fun getting to know Rainey and Jeff who are the perfect host!!! Fun campfire with all the other campers. We woke to fresh coffee and the most delicious stuffed French toast. We did not want to leave!! we will be back.
