Our First room wasn't ready for guests. It had unmade beds, dirty carpet etc etc... We had to use elevator for sencond room and it was filthy from top to bottom and side to side. Didnt even want to push button to the floor our room was on. Our second room was on 3rd floor and was even worse. When opening the door a musty odor hits you, sheets, tables, floor, all of the bathroom & every mirror were filthy. Lobby & hallways were hot & humid due to broken AC units. I asked the lady at front desk why its so dirty not up to standards and she replied "The hotel cleaning employees are Understaffed and are only allowed to work from 9am to 12pm." She apologized for inconvenience of everything and refunded our money. The lady at front desk was very nice & courteous throughout the whole ordeal & honestly was the only good thing about our visit to hotel.

The night I first checked in it was late and I just got off the highway me and my husband and our 1 year old was in town visiting family first res flag that ignored was when we first got in the room there was no towels in the room it was a nasty cuetip on the floor in the bathroom like the room was not clean I went to get towels and come back to put my bags down I see roaches in the tv stand it was late my husband said let it go okay cool the next day we were gone half the day when we return to get ready got bed in our bags were roaches we literally had to shake our things so that we wouldnā€™t have them in our bags they were in the bathroom my husband was killing them I have a picture I took of them on the floor and tv stand this is very unacceptable Especially for people who is traveling with small kids we had to cover our son head to be safe nothing would get in his ear or anything

The customer before me used soap and shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in the tub, wasnā€™t sure if the room had been properly cleaned. Saw two small bugs in the room and a gecko.

I booked and paid in full for three rooms one month in advanced. Upon arrival around 7:55pm I was told that only one room was cleaned, and it wasn't the the type that I paid for. The front desk agent Eric then called Lena, Supervisor and in their conversation Eric said, "there are no rooms in Ruston so, what are we going to do?" I am traveling with a large family and toddlers and I needed to be secure in my travel and have some where to stay. Like most people, I do not like being inconvenienced especially when properly planned out. There is no way possible my rooms were not available and not cleaned. I was told that I needed to wait over an hour to allow them time to clean the other rooms and that timeframe was not actually guaranteed. While Eric went out his way to try to accommodate us, the hassle of getting settled with twin toddlers was extremely exhausting. I am disappointed in my stay at comfort inn.

No pool, no phones, and clean your own room
Checking in was a nightmare! First two rooms they tried to give us were dirty and had such wet carpet that it splashed when we walked in. The poor desk clerk tried so hard - kudos to him!! He finally found us a room, and it was decent overall. However, the cleaning staff doesn't do their job as completely as they should. There were two cups of suspicious liquid in our closet, the mirror was filthy, and the dust in there was ridiculous. Not to mention the algae filled pool outside our window. Even the life ring flotation device to save drowning swimmers was old and cracked. Disgusting. And the clerk let on that NONE of the phones in the hotel (rooms, hallways, etc) work - just the front desk. Management has gone cheap here, and they shouldn't be running a hotel if they can't do so safely.

My room was prepaid through Expedia. I arrived at hotel and was told that no rooms were available. The person was extremely rude and told me it was not his problem, and to talk to Expedia. Expedia had nothing to do with it. Iā€™ve never prepaid for a room and told there was no room. I had the spend over an hr you n I gone win th Expedia and had to find another hotel at night.

When I arrived to check into my room the guy at the desk informed me that all the rooms were sold out. I didnā€™t understand how could all the rooms be sold out when I had reservations. He told me that since I booked through a 3rd party that didnā€™t have to honor my reservation since I didnā€™t book directly through Comfort Inn &Suites that they didnā€™t have to honor my reservations and I should have called the hotel and made sure I had a room. I was not the only one he said this to it was also 2 other couples in the lobby that was told the same thing. He was very rude and told me he didnā€™t care. I told him that I couldnā€™t drive 5 hrs home. He responded that he didnā€™t care. If there is a problem with 3rd party reservations I donā€™t think that customers should use this networking since when you get to a hotel they can not honor your reservation that you reserve and pay for upfront and the hotel can get their money and hang you out to dry and itā€™s like hell to even get a refund. I will no longer use a 3rd party or stay at this hotel again. And then the hotel is very nasty no hot water. Elevator sound like you about fall out and nasty. Television would not turn off we had to listen to the television all night and it was loud. This was a horrible experience for me and my husband

A little disappointed
Booked hotel due to the discount and price. Checked in and when we got to the room, it had a very foul odor. Later that night we discovered the air conditioner was leaking water onto the carpet causing the strong smell. Also since I was in town, I invited my 9 yo neice to come swim, only to discover the pool was closed, major bummer, it would have been nice to know before we booked. The breakfast was pretty fair, omelets, sausage, pastries, etc.

We were disappointed. We did not notice how dirty the bedding was until morning. We saw many roaches in the bathroom and crawling on the walls in room. The swimming pool was closed and green. Our room smelled musty. The elevator doors slammed shut. Breakfast was also disappointing. The only good thing was the staff. Very sweet.

Iā€™ve stayed here twice in the past two weeks. The first room had mold in the closet. Then I was given a room that wasnā€™t cleaned. I received a third room that was okay. On my most recent stay my room had a mouse in it so I was moved to another room that had a strange smell and no remote for the tv.
