We arrived early and a room was available unfortunately it was next to the elevator so we heard that little alarm that sounds every time the doors open. Not too bad and as the night went on it happened less. But the worse thing was there wasnā€™t any hot water in the shower.

Beds were comfortable. The room smelled fresh, not overly perfumed or of harsh chemicals. The pool area seemed well maintained and the hot tub worked well. The staff was friendly. Easy check in, easier check out.

Gave us crappiest room available, beside elevator and across from ice machine. I asked for clean no pet room because of severe allergies. There were feather pillows on beds. I had to get one out of my car to sleep on. I stuffed up immediately upon laying on bed. Traffic kept me awake. Extremely loud! Horrible experience. No sleep.l

Our room was dated and old looking (furniture, carpet, bedding. Limited amenities. Breakfast (all 3 mornings) was flavorless (watery, tasteless eggs and tough, overcooked sausage, stale bagels). Bathroom was VERY BASIC. Housekeeping never came to refresh towels or empty trash the 3 days/nights we stayed. We emptied our own trash. Would not stay here again.

Great place with a few annoyances.
Room was well appointed and breakfast bar was great! - couldn't find a way to hook up my Roku to work on the TV. - rather strong smell of disinfectant or something in the room. - great walk-in shower but bow-shapee curtain bar causes LOTS of water to go out onto the floor. Design issue.

A wonderful stay in Ruston, LA. The Fairfield Inn provided that touch of Southern charm with the comforts of home. Quiet, clean, friendly, accommodating, and a great place to stay. Highly recommend a stop in Ruston, LA and a stay at The Fairfield Inn.

The mattress in the room was terrible very lumpy and old. The worst thing was that the water went off at eight this morning in the entire hotel and you could not get any water. They knew that it was planned ahead so they shouldā€™ve never allowed people to rent at that facility knowing the water was going to be turned off at eight this morning all day today.
