Our domicile lies with 3. 400 qm forest and meadow and own bank at the 7 km long lake Lången. From a sublime location, 20 meters from the water, our well-kept house with 120 square meters offers a fantastic view of the lake and the surrounding forests. A meadow framed by mature trees invites to sports and games. The friendly yellow house and the boathouse are built in typical Swedish wood construction and well equipped. The view of the lake and the surrounding Nordic nature from all rooms, the open fireplace, the beautiful wooden furniture and the tasteful decor and decoration create a dreamlike and relaxed atmosphere. The light-filled spacious living / dining room opens on one side to the lake with its own boat / jetty, on the other side to the large terrace. The same applies to the "music room", as we call the additional living / bedroom with its own bathroom.
Traditionally, the rural estates in Sweden have a proper name, which also goes down in the postal address. "Sjöklippan" means "The Sea Rock" or "The Rock on the Lake". The comfortable wooden house was built on the mighty rock rising 10 to 20 meters from the shore. It is 5 meters above the water. In the living / dining room and the "music room" panoramic windows open on one side the view of the lake with its own shore, on the other side on meadow and forest. From the kitchen you can see the children on their own boat / jetty. The master bedroom and main bathroom also have windows to the lake.
The house is in north-south direction on the rock. The large veranda on the east side invites for breakfast in the morning sun. House and grounds are illuminated by the sun all day long. This shines until late in the evening on the shore with the boat / bathing jetty on the west side of the house.
Not to be outdone is the feeling of freedom on the expansive boat / jetty. He is the center of life on Sjöklippan. It offers plenty of space for garden table and chairs and invites you to a barbecue and sunbathing. From here the boat, fishing and swimming tours are undertaken. A special experience is an overnight stay on the boat dock under the open sky with the splash of water as a lullaby.
The Lången is part of a wide-ranged lake system with idyllic islands and an ideal canoe and fishing area in the middle of wild forests with hiking trails. The entire province of Småland consists largely of lake systems connected by rivers and streams.
One kilometer south of Sjöklippan Lake Lången merges into the river Årån, which flows into the lake Furen after 10 km. The entire course of the Årån with its adjacent floodplains is a nature reserve. Accordingly rich is the animal and especially the birdlife. The Årån is especially popular with canoeists. In the spring after the snow melts trained the Swedish kayak national team on him. In the summer and in the fall it is suitable - also for beginners - except for some places, which can be umtragen.
The Lången is particularly rich in fish and has in addition to the abundant in all Swedish waters pike, perch, eel and white fish on a high zander inventory. He is therefore an Eldorado for sport fishermen. The season is year-round with highlights in April, May, September and October. In winter, ice fishing through drilled holes in the ice is very popular. With the fishing license you can fish in 10 lakes and some rivers of the system. Also on the Öring, the Swedish trout, in the river Osån.
Other sports on site include golf, horseback riding, cycling, hiking, tennis, swimming, boat tours, skating and cross-country skiing.
